Sonics pov
I raced around the city several times over, hoping to catch a glimpse of the green hawk. Where could he have gone? Did he leave on his own? Did eggman snatch him up? Gah I'm going mad with worry!
"Hey sonic" I stopped in my tracks at the sound of knuckles voice "looking for the kid?"
"Yeah" I sighed "I can't find him anywhere though and I've checked this city a gazillion times! If I'm being honest I'm getting worried"
"Tch troublesome kid. Causing trouble for everyone" he grumbled.
"You're worried too aren't you" I smirked.
"Ye-yeah right!" He glared at me through a blushing face. Heh softie!
"Please help!" A girl echidna came through the wall.
"A ghost?" I looked at her in interest.
"See I knew I wasn't crazy!" He said thrumpantly "now what do you want ghost!"
"It's your friend jet. He's passed out on angel Island and he won't wake up!"
"What!" We both jumped to attention "take us to him"
*Time skip*
We arrived at the island to find an unconscious jet and a shattered emerald.
"My emerald!" Knuckles gasped. I ignored him and ran to jet. I cradled him in my arms and checked him over. He didn't seem hurt.
"Hggg" he groaned softly, still unconscious.
"Easy kid I've got you" I picked him up before turning to takal "who did this to him?"
She turned away "His name is chaos and now that he's awake we're all in big trouble..."
