Waves pov
"Wave wait!" That pink hedgehog amy chased after me. I ignored her as I marched on. I'm in no mood for talking.
"Please wait" she grabbed my wrist. I turned around and glared at her.
"What do you want!"
She looked away "I know you're upset, I am too. The idea of jet never waking up is-" she let out a sob. My eyes softened. This poor kid, she's suffering just like me.
I sighed "Listen kid I'm sorry for being so harsh. It's just with all the emerald hunting and a freaking monster roaming around I-"
"Oh how interesting" I was cut off by a bat sitting above us "emerald's you say? Please tell me more"
"And who are you?" I looked up at her sceptically.
She jumped down and landed gracefully on her feet "The name's rouge, world famous theif"
"Ah a fellow theif and a girl at that" I smirked. It was rare to run into your own kind. This could be fun.
"So are you going to let me in on your little mission" she leaned forward.
"Well-"
"There's a monster on the loose and it's eating up chaos emeralds" amy said before I could say anything.
"Oh how interesting, and will you be hunting down these emeralds sweetheart?" She flew around Amy.
"Yeah of course we are!" She said firmly.
"First we'll need to find out where they are though" I muttered.
"Hmm well I happen to be a talented treasure hunter" rouge said proudly "say if I help you girls find those emerald's will I be able to keep them?"
"Sure that's fine by me, what about you wave?" Amy looked over at me.
"It's fine, jets safety is all that matters to me right now" I shrugged.
"Then it's settled" rouge clapped her hands together happily "alright ladies let's get treasure hunting!"
