Amy's pov
We followed the man down a long hallway and into a hidden room. He held the door open with a smile. We exchanged worried glances before heading inside.
"Mr komodashi there you are-who are they?" Eggman glared down at us.
"Mr robotnic I'd like you to meet my adorable children" he wrapped his arms around us "I take them to work with me everyday"
"Tch I despise children but I suppose if they stay quiet I'll let it slide" he huffed "now do you have what I ordered"
We took a seat opposite the doctor. Mr komodashi grinned with a twinkle in his eyes "dear doctor what do you take me for. Of course I have what you ordered" he held up a chaos emerald!
"Whoe it's beautiful" jet gasped.
"It's a chaos emerald mr jet" cream explained "if you get all seven it can grant you all kinds of powers"
"So there's no way we can let eggman get his grubby hands on them" I growled.
"Then leave it to me" jet winked as he hid under the table.
"Ahaha wonderful" eggman reached over but mr komodashi pulled back.
"Not so fast doctor, I want my cut" he said firmly.
"Fine fine" the doctor growled as he dug into his pocket and threw him a bag of coins.
"Everything seems to be in order" he muttered "fine here you are" he tossed the emerald to him. Before he reached him jet caught the emerald in midair!
"Scram!" We took off running, our clothes flying off but before we could escape we were grabbed by some robots.
"Easy doctor, they're just kids" Mr komodashi tried to reason with him.
"They're not children, they're monsters" he growled before turning his attention to jet "I don't recognise you boy but if you're involved with them then I assume you're trouble too. Now hand over the emerald!"
"Sure if you can find it" he hid his hands behind his back with a smirk.
"Oh a wiseguy eh. Then perhaps you'll like a good shake!" The robot tossed him upside down and shook him. He eventually dropped it and just as the doctor bent down to pick it up a whirl of blue appeared.
"Sonic" I gasped as the blue hedgehog appeared.
"Hey guys, thanks for getting your hands on the emerald, I owe a lot to you" he winked at me.
"Grr that blasted hedgehog!" Eggmans face was red with anger "this time I'll get you for sure!"
"So you always say" he threw the emerald to knuckles who was waiting out the window "hey knux keep this safe for me will you? I have some butt kicking to do"
"Whatever you say" he rolled his eyes before taking out the robots holding us "come on kids, let's get you home"
We nodded and followed him outside...
