"Quinn?" I call out for the grouchy man.

I had been avoiding him yesterday after I had fallen from his boxes being out in the hallway, I mean who just leaves giant things like that lounging around? I hurt my ankle but it was a lot better today plus I had something to show him. I may have come up with a whole pitch an di was pretty sure this could work.

"Quinn?" I repeat making my way down the stairs, one hand on the rail and the other squeezing my laptop and paperwork to my chest. My eyes search for him through the cabin as the fire blazes on in the lounge.

Jack was expecting an outline tomorrow and I just needed Quinn to check it over, make sure I hadn't missed anything out. I had spent the past two days on it and felt that this would really work.

"Quinn?" I huff.

"Right here women." He gruffs from behind me, his lips right behind my ear.

I squeal in shock, spinning around to see the quirk of his lips. "Where have you been?" I question as my eyes rake over his broad figure. His black puffa coat hides the huge arms I know he has underneath.

He frowns, "Out."

"I have something to show you." Is all I reply with. I rush to the kitchen and hop up onto one of the spinning chairs to spare my bare feet from getting cold. I wriggle my toes to warm them up, the emerald green polish reflecting off the lights.

He raises an eyebrow, "So do I."

I try and hide the shock from my voice, "You do?"

He growls, "Yes." Throwing his coat onto the couch I watch as he comes and sits opposite me and watches as I lay out everything in front of him. He eyes the paragraphs of words alongside graphs and cost analysis.

"Go ahead."

I smile and nod, "Okay." I scan the pages until I find the first one and show him a photograph of an old building. "I found this picture the other day, it's an old building that is empty just outside of the town and at the bottom of the hill of all the lodges."

He nods eyes watching my every move as I pull out another page, "I made sure it was owned by the Greenwoods and it it but it seems like it's been forgotten about. I thought we could put the rink here. Guests would be close to the skii facilities, lodges and the town and it means nothing else has to go because of it."

I wait while he takes it in, nibbling my lip as nerves fill my stomach. "I need more." He instructs motioning to my paperwork.
