While walking to the forest nearby the school Eddie led you to a clearing where a picnic table was.
"Take a seat. I'll teach everything that a new player and club member should know. This'll be a while." Eddie told while he sat across from you getting out a DnD new character sheet and beginner's book.
"All right. You didn't think we were followed by anyone right?" You replied while still standing up
"What makes you think that? And no I don't think so because I've sneaked out all the time and no one catches me." Eddie asked
"I don't know- oh!" You accidentally turned around to look behind you again and you bumped into someone.
It was girl she wore a cheer outfit, a Hawkins High cheer outfit.
"Chrissy? Is that you?! At the cafeteria?" You stood dumbfounded feeling so stupid you didn't think it was her
"Y/N? Yeah it's me and I'm so sorry about my boyfriend... but what are you doing here? I thought you moved away a long time ago?" Chrissy apologized
"So you two really are half sisters?" Eddie asked while setting up a character for you hoping you'd like it
"Same dad different mothers." Chrissy bluntly answered
"Huh I kinda see the resemblance only a little bit." Eddie answered
"So long story short I wanted to start anew back home where I belong. Anyways my mom told you've been out of it... like quiet... from what I remember you're almost never quiet. Come on sit down." You grew worried over her as you ushered her over next to you
"Oh... I thought no one would really notice... except maybe Jason but... it's nice of you to worry... it's just something has been going on and it's been effecting me... practically dragging me down. Like a clock's ticks getting louder and louder saying you're time is up." Chrissy softly answered as she sat next to you
"I'm sorry to hear that Chrissy... is it because of our dad... you know?..." You didn't want to say the rest of it
"Yes and no..." Chrissy told
"So why come out here? You wanted to run away from it all? I can uh... change that a little bit..." Eddie also grew concerned as he grabbed a little case
"What's that?" Chrissy asked
"Just something that'll hopefully take you're mind off it... maybe I don't know how'll affect you than it does me..." Eddie told to Chrissy as he held a bag of well... a type of drug
"Eddie are crazy?!" You didn't like what you're seeing
"What? It works!" Eddie looked to you
"Do you have anything... stronger? It's much worse than you think..." Chrissy spoke more softly than before
"Uh... *sigh* Yeah but back at my place... we could met up after our things? How's that?" Eddie thought on it and asked
"I'll be right back before things get more awful for Chrissy... Eddie has anyone ever told you that drugs aren't the answer?! My dad was a criminal and had DUI because of it! I'll still play with you all but... *sighs in frustration*" You sprinted off to home in a fuse, but not before giving your mom a call to see if she was home
As soon as you got out of the forest, you called your mom.
"Hello Mom?" You greeted
"Y/N? What's wrong?" Your mom asked
"I found Chrissy and she's in a really bad spot... it's like she's suicidal almost... she's resorting to drugs at this point for comfort. What do I do? Are you home?" You asked
"*groans* You got me at a bad time sweetie... I've got a longer shift than usual I won't be home till about 9 to 10. Can't you just bring Chrissy home with you?" Your mother asked
"Damn it! No because I wanted play this game with this club I joined and the leader of it happens to be the one offering her drugs!! Not only that but she's one of the cheerleaders of the basketball team for their game that's happening tonight! Of all times they had to do this... they're planning on leaving as soon as they both finish with their errands." You cursed
"I'm sorry dear... why don't you intercept them or sneak a way in? You know the stuff your father once did?" Your mother suggested slyly
"I could... but if it's for Chrissy's sake... all right. I'll sneak in and bring her home..." You answered
"Ok I'll meet you both as soon as I can... I love you Y/N. Bye" Your mother soon hung up
You looked to the sky as it was turning twilight...
Chrissy and Eddie soon emerged from the woods.
"Oh! Cheer team! I've gotta run!" Chrissy ran off in a hurry
"I thought you fled to whence ye came." Eddie playfully asked
"Don't." You answered firmly
"Don't be like that. It can't be that bad besides I've got a good character for you." Eddie answered as he held the character sheet in front of your face
The character was named (insert character name) she's/he's/it's/they are (insert race from DnD) and (insert class) and are level 15.
"It's actually very nice... of you... thanks but why is it level 15?" You were a bit hesitant to thank Eddie but you did anyway
"Oh because everyone else is that level and we actually ended our last session right before a boss fight... albeit VERY important boss... oh yeah you'll need these too." Eddie handed you some DnD dice
They were all F/C or (insert print or design you like with a certain color of choice)
"Thanks again... how exactly did you find it like this?" You asked
"As DM I collect a lot of DnD dice as some work and some don't... that bunch of dice I gave you works as if Lady Luck herself was trapped in them." Eddie commented
"I hope to see it's magic when we play..." You answered
"Uh did you read the actual manual for how to play the game?" Eddie asked
"Oh cr@p... uh... Teach me along the way if that's the best way to learn!" You reliazed you never had a chance to read the manual
"All right (your DnD character's name) with pleasure... as you say... Come let us join our party." Eddie chuckled menacingly as he ran off to Hawkins High and you followed after him
