Lover's Lake.

What felt like minutes to you was not the same when it came to your stamina for hiking.

"*pants* Are we getting close Eddie? I'm dying of thirst..." You asked short of breath following after Eddie

"Yeah in fact we made it. *takes a breath* There's a spot right here Y/N... Come on sit down. You can feel the breeze from the lake here. You'll cool off better instead of standing around." Eddie beckoned as he patted the ground next to him ushering you to him

You walked over to Eddie and sat down onto the cool ground next to Eddie until you seen the lake's waters...

"See? What'd I tell you?" Eddie asked

"You're right Eddie it is nicer over here. *gasp* Water!" You quickly made way to the water source to get your energy back up

You drank some needed water and splashed some into your face so you didn't feel sickly to your face...

You could hear Eddie's footsteps coming up from behind as he got onto all fours.

"I really needed it Eddie, sorry for rushing off like that." You told as you felt a little embarrassed about it

"No worries Y/N... *gets a handful of water* My throat is all dry right now... *slurps some water* OK that's better. You know I got food for you, since I pretty much took it all... I left it back over in the shade over there. I'll get it for you, stay there." Eddie spoke as he got up to grab the food he brought

"You did? Oh Eddie... Thank you." You were touched as you gave your thanks as he returned back with your favorite food

"You're welcome Y/N." Eddie replied with a smile watching you take the bag

"Why are you smiling? Did you secretly..." You got all bashful about it until you looked what was inside

Your favorite food of course!

"My favorite?!" You were a bit dumbstruck but glad all the same as you started feasting

"Go on Y/N. I won't even ask for any... All yours. I'm just gonna stick one earbud in my ear. Listen to something really quick..." Eddie told as he took his Walkman into his hands, you tell he was trying to avoid looking at you.

Eddie's P.O.V

'Do I tell her or not? She keeps looking at you! Say something for Christ's sake... But will she like me back?' Eddie thought to himself as he looked to the lake's silent waves.

Your P.O.V

You couldn't stop thinking about all the good Eddie has done for you. Each time you had your eyes on him. It made your heart flutter and race. You get all giggly and shy as well.

'Eddie's being so thoughtful... I mean it's not like he isn't always like this to me... but why can't I stop thinking about you Eddie? Oh my... Do I have feelings for him?! AGH!!
