"Is something up? You guys took a while to get back than I thought..." You asked out of curiosity
"Well we have good and bad news." Robin told
"Ok so what's the good news?" You questioned
"Well luckily for Eddie he's not wanted for murder." Steve added
"Ok well if I'm not wanted what's the bad news then?" Eddie asked
"The cops and public still think you did it." Max answered
"Can't we just take out Vecna and be done with it? Hell you said you'd find that friend of yours." Eddie grew frustrated
"It's in the works. It's hard to find a friend who only just came back here from California. Worse yet knowing if she's alright." Max explained
"You guys said you'd help us! Have you found out where everyone is? Or what we should do as a matter of fact? Instead of just standing here doing nothing?" You shouted
"We are! Relax Y/N... We're still figuring that out..." Dustin told
Police sirens were sounding outside.
"Sh!t hide! Give me your hand!" Eddie shouted to you as he pulled you into a closet.
You yelped at his sudden action. He soon shut the closet door.
"We'll see what's going on! Don't move!" Dustin told to you both
As the others left, the sirens quieted down as they grew farther away.
"You're really close Eddie." You felt a tiny cramped in the closet
"Oh sorry Y/N. I don't why I felt protective of you. When it should be the other way around." Eddie slid a bit back from you as he said this
"I think we're just equally protective. I think they're gone. You scared me from just whisking me in like that." You replied in a whisper
"Again sorry about that." Eddie apologized awkwardly
You heard your phone chime for a incoming message.
"I think we're good now." You replied as you slowly opened the closet door
You and Eddie stepped out of the closet, you checked your phone for who texted.
It was Dustin yet again.
'We've got a bit of a lead about Vecna's victims, the some of the crew is gonna meet up and explain what's going on and why these are happening. Hope it leads us to Vecna's actions. We'll talk to you later, hope those snacks and stuff last for a while. We promise this'll be over soon!'
'OK we're putting our trust in you buddy. I really hope what you say is true. See you later.' You then sent the message to Dustin
"We've got a lead finally! Dustin said that some of them are gonna meet up, talk and hopefully come to terms about this. I feel like this isn't over yet." You replied
"When you say it like that Y/N. I don't feel worried too much but... I'm still on edge about this though." Eddie told
"We'll get through it I know we will! And well as friends we have to keep faith right?" You questioned
"Yeah you're right Y/N. I think aside from getting my confidence back for singing... I really think you're changing me in a way... I don't know how but it's nice." Eddie told
"Me? Changing you? In what way exactly?" You asked
"Don't ask me! I honestly don't know myself very well." Eddie answered
"I think you're just playing hard to get." You replied sarcastically
"*snickers* You really wanna go that way huh?" Eddie jokingly played along
"Well go ahead tell me!" You ushered
"Hm... let's see. I know! My lyricists abilities, singing, getting over my anxiety, diminishing my use of drugs... I don't think I'll ever do that to myself again... and I think that's it. Oh no wait. Letting go of my past. That's it." Eddie named out all the things you've done to change him or talk about it for once
"*stammers* I knew that!" You stuttered over yourself
"You're so funny Y/N! At this point my uncle would be curious to meet you, if I ever talked to him before all this sh!t happened. Although I never really talked about friends or even a girl one at that to him. Oh wait that's because I never had any friends that were girls duh!" Eddie smiled
"Is he nice man?" You wondered
"Oh he's pretty chill around anyone... he always gifts me the latest album of my favorite bands or watches some scary movies or as cheesy as it sounds... rated PG-13 or R romance movies. It makes for some stupid sexy scenarios in DnD the way I see it." Eddie smirked
"You?! *laughes* I would of never thought you'd watch things like that! I mean I do too... and uhh... fantasize that I'm with the heartthrob of the movie..." You nervously brought up something you do in secret
"*chuckles* Really? Name one movie and the scene in question." Eddie asked
"*sighs* You know the scene in Titanic where Jack led Rose to that old fashioned car?" You told this below a whisper
"Yeah what about it? Hold on. Did you have a like a fantasy you had sex with him?! Like that?! Jesus Christ! You're as dirty minded as I am! *laughs*" Eddie couldn't resist giggling from your fantasies
"Shut up! Please don't say anything about it! Or I'll... I don't know kill you in the next campaign!" You playful punched him and threatened Eddie
"You're secret's safe with me Y/N... And all right I know this was gonna happen but I did fantasize as well..." Eddie muttered
"So... spill it!" You asked awaiting for Eddie to talk
"You're not getting this story girlfriend." Eddie teased
"That's not fair!" You whined
"Well too bad!" Eddie mockingly laughed in your face
"You jack@ss!" You whined in defeat
Eddie made his devil face at you.
"Oh I'll make you tell me. One day!" You told to Eddie in a determined tone
"Hah! We'll see about that. (Your DnD character's name)." Eddie played along with the name calling
"Laugh again Kas and you're screwed!" You said this in a happy yet mad tone
