The next day Eddie got up before you this time to make sure you both still had food left to ration but sadly no because of how much he savored yesterday... and he felt guilty for pretty much taking your share and with the Walkman, you went to sleep all moody and hungry. He wanted to make it up to you. Even if he was just teasing you.

He also held a tape in his hand, not one but two although one hadn't been finished. He made both really early today and in secret, and at a far distance to say the least so you could sleep in peace...

The title of one was 'Raccoon Eyes'

The other was called 'Warm Waters'

*That morning*

Eddie's P.O.V

'It's 2 in the morning... I should be asleep at this point. Each time I look at Y/N... It makes it hard for me to sleep. Her laugh, her smile, everything... We met and God she's so much fun to be around. Wait... am I crushing on Y/N? I never thought I'd be heartstrings in my life... Maybe I should write a song just for her... but probably give it to her when I think it's right.' Eddie thought as he tossed and turned trying to shake off these thoughts.

Eddie got up off the ground he laid in, he looked to you again before picking up his guitar and pick he took of his chain necklace that had his guitar pick on it with him.

"I hope you like this Y/N whenever I do give this to you." Eddie mumbled quietly before heading out the door

'It should only take me an hour to walk to Lovers Lake and back. I hope.' Eddie thought to himself

*later*

Eddie had arrived at Lovers Lake and he sat down underneath the stone pillar to take a breath.

"Phew. That was a hike..." Eddie muttered to himself as he pressed the record button on the Walkman

He took his guitar into his hands and took another deep breath as the Walkman recorded silently, awaiting to register Eddie's song.

He quietly played his guitar strumming until he sung his first verse.

'I feel soon... I will sink, into you...'

"What do you think?" Eddie whispered very closely to the Walkman's mic get it just right.

He continued playing the same tone.

'Cause' there's still blood... In your hair... I've got the bruise... Of. The Year...'

He strummed the guitar with more feeling put into it.

'But there's something about her~ Long shady eyes~'

'I'm all about her... Shade tonight!'

He slowed his guitar strums again.

'I hate, your tattoos... You have weak wrists... But I'll keep you. Cause' there's something about her... Long shady eyes! I'm all about her... Shade tonight!'

He was ready for the last verse of the song he put into his heart for you in secret.

'It's too bad... It's too... bad. You're married... To me.'

Eddie continued playing the solemn song until the last note.

And he soon stopped the recording of the Walkman.

"God damn it. The last line sounded better in my head. *curses under breath* Should I do another one?" Eddie asked himself this as he looked to a blank tape that hadn't been used yet.

He thought on it until he took out the tape that was used to record the first song and he placed the blank tape into the Walkman. He pressed the record button seeing the little red light lit up.

"Well Y/N... I guess you're in for a treat for this one. I call this one Warm Waters." Eddie spoke as he held his guitar gentle until he looked up to see the light shining in his face.

He noticed that the sun was about to rise.

He stopped recorded and got up off the ground picking up all his things and started walking.

"Guess that'll have to wait then... *sighs and bangs a tree with his hand* At least I got one song. I'll have to do this one another time." Eddie muttered to himself as he looked at the title 'Warm Waters' on tape that he wrote onto it.

*Back to present time*

"*groans* You gotta be kidding me... Well I guess I'm gonna have to do another ballsy move here. And I did it for you, Y/N." Eddie cursed under his breath but faced towards your sleeping face laying on the ground as he hid the tapes in a place you wouldn't be able to find them at

He had went over to Reefer Rick's house to find some rations.

"Come on, there's gotta be a can or... yes! Y/N's favorite food! (Insert fav food) oh thank God I found something! Ok *sighs* hm... Eh. You'll do fine." Eddie checked each cabinet to find something for you and himself

He got you're favorite food and himself a can of soup.

He spotted a group of teenagers, it was Jason and his friends only just down the road.

"Cr@p! No no no!" Eddie panicked as he swarmed for the things he picked up and dashed out the backdoor.

He ran back into the shed where you still slept.

Eddie quickly set down the food he got and shook you

You woke up to Eddie shaking you to get up

"Y/N? Wake up, wake up!" Eddie's voice sounded muffled to you from just waking up

"Mm. Not now Eddie." You tiredly answered

"Yes now! We've got company, it's Jason." Eddie lifted you by the chin to look at him while he said this

"What?! Ugh... I'd better text Dustin now then." You got up and immediately went to grab your phone to alert Dustin

'Dustin! Or anyone who picks this up! We've got a situation a bad one! Jason's onto us! I think he's coming to try and find us. We'll let you know where we are." You messaged to Dustin and looked to Eddie

"What do we do?" You asked to Eddie

"I think we'd better flee to Lovers Lake. I don't think they'd follow us out there. It's not far so hopefully we can wait it out. I know where it is... Hopefully they won't be there for long for however long we stay there that is..." Eddie answered as he was grabbing something, got what he was looking for and put inside his back pocket. You couldn't tell what it was though. He also grabbed some food as well.

"I hope you're right Eddie, we'd better go now, I see them getting inside the house. I told Dustin that we're headed there now and that we should be back by nightfall hopefully..." You replied as you were peeking outside the doorway.

You and Eddie then stealthily got out of the shed and started walking to Lovers Lake.
