Today it's the day of the Derby at WHS ,bandile is very excited since last week she's been lecturing me about it I don't want to say I'm not excited I'm also excited

Lee is coming with its just goinna be the three of us only well after many failed attempts my best friend finally felt sorry for me well part of the reason she ended up agreed was to see boys I wouldn't be surprised if bags herself a drink

Well I come out of my bathroom wearing a purple bonnet,a purple towel wrapped around my body as for my feet I'm wearing cute purple slippers

The Derby is starting at about 10:00 Lee's mom hoots at the gate I peek through my window and can I just say girls looking hot

Well for me I decided to wear a knitted sweater ,a daddy's crush jean and white AF1S I gel'd my hair yesterday I practically look like a western colored but either way I look so damn beautiful with a curve of my edges

I'm already at the door to welcome her as a knock comes through the other side of the door I gently open the door and she screams when she sees

'bestieeeeeeee"

Me:"I low-key feel like you embarrassing me "

Lee:"and you know me you bound to know that I low-key give zero fucks about that "

I laugh at her and welcome her inside the house
She waits in the lounge while I go upstairs to call bandile

I knock once at bandiles room and the door flies open
Bandile:"you done ?"

Me:"yeah you?"

Bandile:"I'm done "

Well he is also going to be participating in the whole derby think I don't know what but I do know that I'm supporting him today cheering him on kind of like a parent'

He takes his Nike bag with all his change of clothes and I help him with the other things like his juice bottle , bandage's I guess they are also required

Well senzo is taking us to the Derby ,we get inside the BMW with bandile in front and of course me and Lee at the back chatting to whatever pops up we are never silent when together

The car ride comes to a halt and the school building is in full view no cap this school is gigantic well let's say my friend is already taken

We thank senzo for the ride and we tell him the time we will be done so he can fetch us and he's on his way back home

Lee:"bandile so many cute guys "

Bandile:"but none of these guys are Ayanda "

I chuckle

Lee:"ugggh shut up you dum dum "

Bandile:"the guilt is getting worse and worser"

Lee:"aren't you supposed to be practicing or something"

Bandile:"for the first time you actually right Mrs mbatha"

Lee:"wow you really love Ayanda for me don't you "

Bandile:"as long as he plasters that smile on your face then he can stay "

Lee:"does he know he's staying?"

Me:"well that's your job to inform him "

Luthando blushes at our words and looks away

Bandile:"y'all can just take a seat or rather tour the school ,the Derby will start at about 10:30 so for now do whatever"

Me:"and where are you going Mr ?"

Bandile:"well I'm first going to skim the grounds for my girlfriend she's coming and them I'm going to the practicing room "
