Nomzamo's POV

I park my car in the driveway ,the time is only 16:45 I guess I took longer than expected but then I doubt they actually noticed or even bothered excluding the parents

I play with my car keys ,leaving my bag in the backseat I might come back for it later and just take the paper bags on my hand and head inside the house

First thing that welcomes me is laughter ,must be the parents playing ith each other one thing I love about ma and Baba is that their love for each other never seemed to fade it's still there

I place the plastics on top of the counter and head to the lounge where the laughter and giggles are coming from ,I stand by the corner looking at the couple but except it's not ma no Baba it's my Nkosenye chasing Amanda who is a giggling mess around the lounge it looks like he wants what Amanda is holding with her left hand no cap they would make a great couple (in my wildest dreams )

I clear my throat and the attention is all diverted to me ,I love this nkosenye has a look of shock ,and fear of what I'm about to say next and also realisation of what he is doing

Amanda:"ohhh heyyy nomzamo are you always here ?"

Me:'not always just when I'm needed "

Amanda:"oohhh okay "

Nkosenye is tongue tied he knows shit is about to hit the fan but today I'm definitely just not about that I'm in a much rather happy mood than the other days

Nkosenye's POV

I can't read nomzamo's reaction after what she saw ,I was so caught up in the moments I spent with nomzamo I totally forgot we were at my house and that she could actually enter any minute

Shit is about to hit the fan !!
Worse Amanda just had to ask her that question I found myself glued to that spot and definitely not even in a mood to speak

Amanda:"are you okay?"

Me:"ummm yeah back to the l.o project"

Amanda:"I think we have had enough for one day next time it's you coming to my house "

Me:"we stopping here for today "

Amanda':"yep ,let me call my mom "

Me:'okay let me go get you some snacks "

I stand up from the bench I have finally been able to move to ,I head to the kitchen praying that I don't at least get to bump into nomzamo

I arrive at the kitchen and there's no one there's only two paperbacks scattered on the counter and nomzamo's phone just as I'm done with the snacks and ready to take them to Amanda , nomzamo's cellphone rings

I look at it and it's an unknown number instead of just ignoring it because I know if I shout she won't even bare me no mind and it might suspicious

I pick up the call

??:"hey beautiful"

I clear my throat ,is this girl actually cheating on me or what !!
I can't even bring myself to answer so I just hang up the call actually very livid !!!

I take the snacks back to Amanda and she digs in while telling me about some of her childhood one thing about her she has stories for days and heck they are so entertaining

After the little sessions she finally tells me her mom is outside I accompany her to the car and hug her then give her a kiss on the cheek at first she's amazed and also tries to hide it with a blush heck even I'm amazed

I wave goodbye and mother's car finally comes into view ,I'm not a fan of her mother she's too involved so I just get inside and head upstairs to my room we can both sulk
