Amanda's POV

It's been three hours of sitting on these hospital benches waiting for the doctors to finish with my mother
I got a call from the hospital just as I was on my way to my gynae ,I asked the doctor to postpone the appointment and nybgids grace she actually agreed

The female white doctor finally approaches me ,I'm sitting alone and I can't even call my dad because he's in the USA for a business meeting but even so he wouldn't attend they are divorced so it's only just me and my mother

Me:"doctor how is she ?"

Doc:"well we managed to stabilize herin her condition she didn't exactly respond well to the results "

Me:"which were ?"

Doc:"I'm sorry ma'am but I don't think it's my place to tell you that "

Me:"well is she okay now?"

Doc:"yess she's awake now so you can go talk to her "

Me:"thank you doctor "

He directs me to where my mother is kept and I walk to the ward with every step hearing my thudding heart I'm so anxious honestly

I open the door and she's lying on the bed looking so weak ,it's been a month since I've seen my mother and I here I thought she was in the cape

Me:"mama?"

She looks up and sees me and I see her eyes glisten ,she's about to cry

I run to her side and just fold her in a hug ,

Me:"I thought you were in Cape town"

Ma:"I'm sorry baby I've been here all along I just didn't want you to see me that weak "

Me:"mama what's happening"

Ma:"I .....I........"

She starts stuttering and looking around at the room and her next move shocks me she does the unexpected

Ma:"Noooo mpumelelo get away from me ,MANDA HES HERE !!!"

she says that pointing to the corner of the room I ,turn around but there's no one she's just screaming in fear her body shaking ok the bed she looks so scared

I try helping her but she yanks my hand away ,the doctors and the nurses pile In the rope
A male Doctors barges in the room with the ropes to help her and hold her against the bed

They tie her hands because she just keeps hitting them with their fists

Ma:"HES HERE !!!!!... MPUMELELO"

ohhh my god my mom is seeing things now

Doc:"ma'am we going to need you to step outside"

I'm weighed down in that position my body feels heavy I don't know what to do one of the nurses comes and injects her

The doctor helps me out of the room seeing the bump on my stomach I even forgot I was pregnant tears are string down my face
