I wake up to an annoying beeping sound I lift up my pillow and its my phone what is it now !? I glance at the screen and the time reads 00:00
I glance at the screen and it's a reminder 'reminder : hubby's birthday ❤️🫶🎉'
I smile to myself when the fuck did I get time to do this but then I think there's only one person who would actually do this and it's amahle but I know she ain't alone it was with luthando and naledi I'm sure
I stand up from the bed and just head downstairs for a cup of water my throat is really dry right now I slip on my bunny slippers and it's too hot for a gown so I just leave wearing my short pyjamas
They are not too short but I just hope there's no one downstairs

I walk downstairs and surprisingly the lights in the kitchen are turned on but there no one there I open the fridge and take a bottle of water
I get a huge fright when I see Nkosenye standing in the passage leaning on the wall

Me:"my my my did you just say ......sorry ?"
His body just relaxes after I say that he looks like he's tense He gives me that smile that just decreases my blood flow

I just laugh
Me:"so it took your birthday to finally realise how sarcastic I am ?"
Him:"is that another way of you telling me happy birthday "
Me:"well interpret it how you want it happy birthday "

I smile at him and just shake my head while drinking my water He heads to the fridge and takes a botyle of water and leaves but stops midway

He turns to look at me and I try not to blush what is happening

And he leaves leaving me a happy and blushing mess this boy is provoking me

I didn't intend on telling nomzamo that she was the first one to wish me happy birthday but I'm pretty sure that made her entire year it made mine too I don't wanna lie
I go back to my room and lock the door then try to get back to sleep we are leaving early in the morning the wee hours nje
My alarm goes off next to me on the stand I look at it and it's 04:00 am ugggggh I know mom did that on purpose I wear my push ins and head to my bathroom for a shower
