"Do you want to talk about what happened this afternoon?" Lyle asked as I crawled into bed. He was grading tests while everyone else was in the living room. He was wearing his cute Clark Kent glasses. Normally they would make me happy but they only reminded me of Eli.

My first brother.

"No." I grumbled burring myself under the covers. "I just want to die." I sighed.

"Don't do that." He mumbled.

"Why not?"

"Well then I'd have to go jump off a cliff. And you know how much I hate heights." He said. I giggled.

"Suicide isn't funny."

"You're right." He said putting his papers on the ground. He rolled over and put his arm around my waist. "What's going on baby?" he whispered.

"So much."

"Why don't you take your medicine?"

"I don't want to take that fucking medicine." I growled.

"Why not? It'll help."

"It'll make me forget." I cried.

"The bad things. Don't you want that?"

"I don't want to forget the good things either."

"What good things? As far as I know the gang was nothing but chaos for you. The only things good that came out of that place was Blake and Bella."

"And Eli."

"That's debatable." He mumbled I turned around and gave him a strange look.

"It really isn't." I said. He shrugged.

"We disagree."

"What the fuck do you know anyway? You only know Eli from one point in my life."

"Yeah and that was a pretty hectic part. He was with you, he was your brother, he was fucking you, he left you, he came back, he was fucking again, then he broke up with you, then he got made you were moving on, I mean the guy couldn't make his mind when it came to you."

"For a moment in time neither could you." I scoffed. He rolled his eyes.

"I was engaged, married, single, then with you. Pretty straight forward if you ask me."

"The way I remember it you were engaged but wanted to be heavily involved with my life. Married but constantly flirting with me. Single and leading me on."

"Why are we having this conversation?" he asked irritated. I glared at him. "Eli was bad for you. That's how I saw it."

"I loved Eli."

"Are you sure about that sentence? The ED suffix implies past tense. As in not anymore."

"I don't know Lyle, you are the English teacher. You tell me." I huffed and got up from the bed.

"Where are you going?"

"To talk to someone who understands."

"Stay away from Dylan Riley." He growled.
