SORRY ABOUT ANY MISTAKES
“We’re going to start the class today by doing a quick survey.” I looked up and saw that there were four charts drawn on the board. Each one said yes and no but they all varied on which choice was more popular. “We’ll start off with a couple of easy questions so I don’t rattle you guys too much here.” He said leaning up against the front of his desk. “How many of you like your name.” a majority of the class raised their head, except for me and a couple of other people. “Alright. Brittany, tell me why don’t you like your name.”
“Everyone has it. I mean there are like three other Brittanys in this class alone.” He shrugged and nodded.
“Michael, tell me why you do like your name.” Michael shrugged.
“I don’t know. It’s the one I’ve always had. I can’t see myself having a different one.”
“So it’s not that you like it, you just don’t hate it.” Mr. Harte suggested. Michael thought about it and nodded.
“Yeah, yeah I guess you could put it like that.”
“Alright, next question. I-phone or Android?” the class started yelling out one brand name over the other. Mr. Harte chuckled and held up his hands. “Whoa, whoa, um I’m hearing a lot of Apple. Jackson which one do you like better?”
“Android” He said without hesitation.
“Why?”
“It just runs better, it’s more efficient and it’s a better phone.”
“Okay, Teddy I see you have an I-phone how do you like it?”
“I love it.”
“Why?”
“It’s cooler then the Android, it had better apps, and it just looks nice.” He scoffed as if it was a stupid question. Mr. Harte chuckled and nodded.
“Fair enough, Okay this one is for the girls. Edward or Jacob?” the class shouted Jacob at him almost simultaneously. He laughed. “This is the only class I’ve had that actually aggress on that one.” The class laughed.
“Emma would’ve pissed everyone off.” Ryder whispered.
“Why does she like Edward or something?”
“No, she thinks she should’ve said screw you to both of them and ran off with Emmet.” I scoffed and shook my head.
“Okay now for the real question.” Everyone got quiet. “If your back was to the wall in a life or death situation, would you be able to take the life of a loved one.” My stomach dropped. “Take a minute to think about that. You don’t have to answer that one right away.” My palms started to sweat and my hands started to shake. My breath got heavy as I bit my lip and my heart started to pound out of my chest.
