Twelve: The Edward Situation

Calvin noticed that over the week, Bella would be asking about Edward or she would be staring at them hoping someone will give her answers. Julia knew how to get away from the staring and questions. Just simply ignore her. "This is getting out of hand." Calvin says with his arms around Julia as they sat outside on the swing.

"Calvin, I wished I can figure out how to get her from asking about Edward." She says as she heard her sister walking around the house. "This is all Edward's fault. If he didn't act like an ass towards her because of her scent, then none of this would be going on."

Looking at her, Calvin turned her to face him. She smiled as he leaned in and kissed her. Bella looked out the window to see Calvin and Julia sharing a kiss. She would ask, but she's trying to know her sister at the same time.

Later that day, Julia opened her locker and started putting her books in. Bella walked over to her and sighed. "I won't ask about Edward's disappearance, but I was wondering if you could give me an idea on his personality."

Julia closed her eyes and looked at Bella. "Bella, let me tell you one thing about him. He's an ass." She says shutting her locker and started walking away just for Bella to follow. "I don't really know him that well like I do with the others. He stayed in his room or just went for walks when I was there. Every now and then we talked."

"So there's nothing different about the Cullens."

"Nope." Julia says as she put her arms around Calvin. "They're perfectly human to me."

"Thanks and uh...can we, um, try for a movie night. To actually get to know one another."

"I'm only doing this for dad."

"Thank you."

Calvin watched Bella walk away causing him to look at his mate. "I see that you are trying to get to know her."

"Only for daddy." She tells him. "He wants us to bond and get to know one another. I just won't give Renee a chance."

Calvin kissed her head making her smile. "Let's go to class and I'll let them know about the Edward situation."

"Okay."

Julia smiled as they walked away together, but they knew that the others heard and knew this situation needs to be discussed. "Edward just caused us problems without even knowing it."

After school, Julia went to the Cullens house. She stood in the living room in Calvin's arms as they listened. "Edward caused us too much problems. Bella is now asking Julia questions that Julia won't answer."

"I don't really know Edward. I told her the truth." She tells them. "He caused this. Not Bella. Yes, we don't get along right now, but you know what, I will stand by those that is not really at fault. Edward screwed up the minute he covered his nose and didn't listen to my warning." She looked at Calvin. "Can you take me home?"

"Of course, baby. I'm staying the night."

Julia nodded as they walked out of the room. Carlisle sighed. "Edward should be coming home soon." He tells them. "I will have another discussion, but without Julia."

"Is there something wrong?" Jasper asked.

"She's stressing too much. Julia doesn't need to be here as this is not her problem. Despite her being part of this family."

They nodded as they will leave Julia out of the situation that Edward causes.
