Twenty seven: She Wakes Up

Day one was rough on Calvin. He wouldn't let anyone else touch his son till his wife woke up. Julia needs to hold Zach first. Edward has been staying as the others wanted to hold Zach, but are waiting for Julia. Calvin still did what Zach likes doing. Lying on his mom.

"She'll be waking up, tomorrow." Edward tells him. "Then Zach can finally be held by his mother."

"Yeah." He says as he looked at his wife and son. "You know, Charlie was so happy to see his daughter become a mother." Edward nodded. "I just need to reassure her that she is doing great because she never had a mother figure before."

"I told her one day while you were hunting after Bella figured us out. That no matter what, you are nothing like Renee. You are Julia Swan, well Cullen now, but still, you are not her. You will be an amazing mother to your son. You are already doing amazing job by reading and listening to music. Makes the baby smarter."

"She never told me this."

"She didn't want you to worry about her being upset, but eventually, you would have to know." He tells him. "You two will be amazing parents."

The next day, Julia was starting to wake up so Calvin held Zach along with his family walking in to be there for Julia. Seeing her open her eyes, they watched as she looked around till her eyes went to Calvin and Zach. "Calvin?'

"Hey, baby."

She got off the bed and walked over to him to see her son. She smiled as she put him in her arms and smiled. This shocked the others. "How?"

'She must be the strongest newborn to not want blood."

Julia looked at them. "I would never hurt my son." She tells them. "That's why I'm able to do this." Looking back at her baby, she smiled. "He makes me stronger, but I would like to feed and someone to tell me what I have missed within two days."

Calvin smiled. "Let them watch him and I'll tell you everything. Plus, you need to call your dad. He would like to hear your voice since you have been out."

"He knows I've been asleep for two days?"

"He said he understands as this was a lot on you. Your body was tired and you needed a lot of sleep." He tells her. "Let's go."

Kissing Zach's head, Julia let Rosalie hold him first as she has been waiting for this moment since they discovered Zach. They watched her leave with Calvin making them smile. "We're whole again, but now, we have to see if Bella will see what she is trying to do."

Edward shrugged as he already knows that Bella may or may not see why he left her. The only thing he is questioning, is Bella truly the one?
