Twenty six: The Birth of Zach Cullen

Everything was going good since they left Forks, well that was till Julia was screaming and crying as her water broke and she was giving birth to her son. Calvin was right beside her as Carlisle was the one to deliver the baby. "Calvin!' She cried out. "I hate this."

"I know, baby, but we have to push. We're about to meet our son."

She looked at him in tears. "Zach is his name for one, two, if something happens...."

"I will turn you in a heart beat, baby. I refuse to lose you." He tells her as he kissed her head. "Keep pushing."

Carlisle smiled at them as he was very proud of his son. He was the most encouraging person he has ever met. Seeing how his son is with is wife meant that their bond is stronger than he thought. "Alright Julia, we will be pushing again."

Julia nodded as she felt someone else take her hand. Looking beside her, she saw Edward and smiled. Her father may not be there, but her other family was.

After 16 hours of being in labor, 2 hours of pushing, Julia and Calvin welcomed their son. Zachary Liam Cullen. Julia was in transition and Calvin couldn't wait for her to wake up. His beautiful wife laid on the table as he waited for her to wake up, but it's only been a day. Looking at his little boy, Calvin laid Zach on his mother, who closed his eyes as he slept. "You just want your mama." He says looking at his son sleeping on his mother's chest. "I want her too, buddy."

"Calvin, are you going to hunt?" He looked at Edward.

"No. I'm waiting for my wife to wake up and I have to be here for my son. They need me right now, but I will go once Julia wakes up." He tells him. "Go. I'll be fine."

Edward nodded as he left. Calvin looked back at his wife and son. Smiling, he grabbed him a chair and put it beside the bed. Taking his wife's hand, Calvin hopes that she wakes up soon. He misses her and Zach wants his mom. "Baby, please wake up soon. We need you."

Alice smiled as she knew. Julia will be fantastic when she wakes up. She knew one thing for sure. Julia will make them a bigger family because she saw another one later.
