It was dark out as they were walking home from motors. Fuckshit's parents had taken his car as they found out he wasn't going to class so Isabella and him had started walking home together, they were going the same direction anyways. Of course she wanted him to get his car back but it had been nice being around him more. Especially when it was just the two of them.

"Are your parents home?"

"Nah, they come back on tuesday." He always sounded so careless when he spoke about his parents being away, like he didn't mind being alone all the time. But she guessed it was more to it than that.

"Damn, I really wanna watch a movie or sum, I need company. Can't you stay the night ma?" Isa thought about it for a second, her dad was already asleep and wouldn't notice if she came home or not.

"Please..." he smiled wide and looked at her with those amazing green eyes, she just couldn't say no to that.

"Fine."

It didn't take them long until they were at Fuckshits house. It was way nicer than her fathers house, you could tell his parents had money.

His room was messy with clothes scattered around, skate posters on the walls and CDs stacked in his bookshelf. It felt homey compared to the rest of the house. She laid down on his bed while Fuckshit turned on the TV, he was lucky to have one in his room.

"So what are we watching?" Isa asked, resting on her elbows.

"I got this from Fourthgrade. Think it's a horror movie or something."

"Oh, a horror movie from Fourthgrade. This is gonna be interesting."

He put in the VHS and then laid down next to her, pulling her in so she could lay on his chest. She tried not to overthink it and just be in the moment. The movie started and Isabella could feel herself getting more and more tired. After only an hour she looked over at his nightstand to see the time on his alarm clock, 03:14.

"I can't keep my eyes open."

"Alrighty shawty, I guess we can continue tomorrow." Fuckshit got up to turn off the TV and she groaned as she got up to walk over to his closet.

"I'm stealing this." she said, holding up one of his t-shirts.

"You can have anything you want ma." She pulled her shirt over her head and then caught him staring.

"Really, peeping tom?" Isa chuckled before throwing on his shirt and then getting out of her jeans.

"I can't help myself ma, you look too good." He winked her way and then turned away to close the blinds.

"Yeah yeah..." The brunette replied as she rolled her eyes. She got into bed and watched as he started undressing. He looked at her with a grin.

"What? I get to look too." He stripped down to just his boxers and then turned off the lights. He climbed into bed and she could feel his warm body against her. She found her place on his chest again. Silence grew between them for a moment.

"Do you really like being alone this much?" She asked, referring to his parents being away on work trips all the time. Again it was silent for a second or two before he spoke.

"I don't really have a choice, do I?"

"You could talk to them? Maybe they could figure it out somehow." And maybe it was naive of her to suggest it.

"I tried, always tried. I guess this is just how it's supposed to be." She didn't know what to say and he just pulled her even closer. Isabella put her arm over him and started drawing small circles on his skin with her fingertips.

"I'm glad I met you." his voice was soft as he spoke.

"I'm glad I met you too."

It didn't take long until she fell asleep. It was something so comforting about having him close, feeling his warmth. The next morning she was woken up by a dog barking outside. She opened her eyes and looked at Fuckshit laying beside her. He looked peaceful. She glanced over at his alarm clock and saw it was already 12:14.

"Fuck." Quickly she got up, climbing over him to get dressed.

"Where are you going?" Fuckshit groaned not opening his eyes just yet.

"I need to pick up some shit at Motors and call my dad." It wasn't like her father had been strict with curfews but she needed to tell him where she was so he wouldn't start something when she got home.

"Come on, you coming or not?" she asked, pulling at the covers to get him up. Even though he had just woken up, he looked good with his messy curls and tired eyes. She took his hand and dragged him out of bed.

"I'm up... I'm up." She waited for him as he got dressed and put on his usual beanie.

When they got to Motors she used the phone to call her dad, telling him that she was just out studying with a few friends. He hadn't noticed that she hadn't been home so it was good. Isabella put the phone down and went over to the boys, there was some new skate film that had come out that they were watching.

"Isn't that fuckshits?" Ray asked as he looked down at her shirt. She did the same and saw that she had forgotten to change her shirt before they went out. Ray looked skeptical because he knew it meant that she had stayed the night.

"Uhh yeah."

"It suits you mamas." Fuckshit replied with a wink.

"It looks nice." Stevie said, all innocent.

No one said anything more about it and they continued watching the TV. Ray got up and walked over to the counter, looking to see what orders were coming. Isa got up and joined him as the others talked and replayed their favorite tricks from the clips.

"It isn't what it looks like." She said as she leaned up against the counter.

"You know what I think. It's a dangerous game you're playing." Things were good between them all, they were good friends and he knew that Fuckshit's playboy ways could change that and ruin it all.

"Is he still with Angela?" She couldn't help but ask.

"You promised to tell me the truth." Isa reminded him.

"No, I don't think so..." He sighed and shook his head. It made her happy to hear but she tried not to look too excited.

"I can take off my Ray. You don't need to baby me."

"Just be careful, okay?"

"I will." She put an arm around him and hugged him.

It was strange for her to have people around her that cared so much about her wellbeing. Before the move to LA, she felt like she had to look out for herself because no one else would.
