The first week of school hadn't been too bad. People stared less for every day that passed and a group of girls had let her hang with them. One girl had been especially nice, Estee. She had invited her over to her house, insisting that they would get ready together before Fuckshits party. Isabella hadn't seen him in school after he asked her to come to the party. On the other hand he didn't really seem like the academic type.

"Of course you're gonna go. You can't back out now girl."

"I just don't really know anyone besides you..." She told her new friend.

"That's exactly why you should go. Get to know new people. Find a cute guy... or two." Maybe she was right? She had her friends back home but she knew that as time went on, the phone calls would happen less often. If she was going to stay at her dad's for good... then she might as well try to make the best of it.

"Fine... fine. You're right, I'll go."

When they walked through the doors of Fuckshits house, both were already drunk. Estee had taken some bottles from her parents and it was enough to get the two girls in a party mood. It was like all of Isabella's nervousness had disappeared after a few drinks. Estee had loaned her one of her dresses, a tight black one. Nothing special but different from what Isabella usually wore. The party was already in full swing with people dancing and laughing together. Luckily it seemed like everyone was just as drunk as them so no one seemed to notice the new girl. Estee found her group of friends and they all moved towards the couch.

"I'm going out for a quick smoke..."

"Grab me a drink on your way back!" Estee yelled after her. Outside a lot of people had gathered, probably because of the heat inside. The night air felt nice. A few people were seated by the table and she sat down on an empty chair on the side.

"So you're the new girl?" One of the guys by the table asked. As she looked his way, it was one of the boys she had seen skating with Fuckshit. A good looking guy with a nice smile.

"I guess that's me. I'm Isabella."

"I'm Ray." He held out his hand for her to shake and she reached out to shake it.

"So how do you like it here so far?"

"I mean... I haven't seen much yet. It seems nice."

"Yeah, there's not a lot to do but... it will grow on ya."

"Hope so." Isabella lit her cigarette and then held out his pack to him. He took one and she slid over the lighter to him.

"Thanks." he replied as they sat in silence for a moment as he lit the cigarette.

"So, you met Fuckshit? He invited you tonight?"

"Yeah uh he did... we have math together."

"Of course he did." Ray chuckled before taking a drag and blowing out some smoke.

"Why? Is he a ladies man?" She was blunt with her question. Maybe it was the liquid courage or the fact that she wanted to know if her first instinct about him had been right.

"Something like that. He's a great guy though." She nodded before blowing out some smoke.

"You skate?"

"Nope, never. I like to have both feet on the ground."

"I work at a shop downtown, so if you wanna try it out sometime then you should come by. the guys are there all the time... helping me out with the shop." She wondered if it was a pity invitation on his part since she was new and all. Either way, it was nice of him. She liked Ray, he seemed like a nice guy.

"I will." she replied with a smile.

"I better get back in there. It was nice meeting you though." Isabell stood up and was about to walk away before Fuckshit appeared in front of them.

"Yo ray, so you've met my girl Isabella?"

"Your girl? You wish bro. Lemme know if he gets too annoying. " Ray replied with a chuckle.

"I will." She replied with a grin as she watched Ray walk over to another group of people. Fuckshit took his time looking her up and down, she felt her body becoming warm from the thought of his eyes on her body. Why did she like it?

"I'm glad you could make it. You the finest girl in this place." There was something very entertaining about his blunt flirting. She could see why the girls swooned over him but she knew better than to fall for it.

"Oh yeah? How many girls have you tried that line on tonight?"

"No one, I promise you shawty!" he held up his hands in defeat, smiling bright.

"Yeah yeah... Well I gotta go back inside casanova but uhm... I'll see you around."

"What? You leaving me already?"Isabella rolled her eyes as she walked past him.

"You gonna be the death of me ma!" He yelled after her and she couldn't help but let a smile grow on her lips as she made her way back inside.
