When Isabella woke up, she groaned and her hand moved to search for Fuckshit but he wasn't there. Tired eyes opened and looked around, no sight of him. Fuckshit wasn't an early riser usually. Confused, she got out of bed and made her way out of his room and down the stairs.
When Isabella woke up, she groaned and her hand moved to search for Fuckshit but he wasn't there. Tired eyes opened and looked around, no sight of him. Fuckshit wasn't an early riser usually. Confused, she got out of bed and made her way out of his room and down the stairs.
"Another week?" He said and held the phone to his ear.
A deep sigh followed. His parents had been away for three weeks already and now they were gonna be away for one more. Everyone told him he was living the life. No parents home and a big allowence. What more could a teenage boy want? Many times he wondered if they ever really wanted a kid. There had never been any family dinners around the kitchen table, getting ready in the morning together or anything you would expect from a normal family.
Even as a kid he rather stayed out than be home. Fuckshit had to grow up quickly as he was left alone for long periods of time. His parents always blamed a busy work schedule but he guessed they liked being away because then they could pretend he didn't exist. The only time they were present was when he was in trouble. Always there to give him a talk about how he was wasting his life and how they expected more from him. Fuckshit never heard anything about the good he did.
He wasn't alike either his father or mother. They were smartasses who went to some fancy college and after graduation got wellpaid jobs. Fuckshit could barely read a page in schoolbook without being distracted. He got some pills for ADHD but his parents didn't believe in it. He couldn't be their son and have a diagnosis, they couldn't accept that but they never admitted it out loud. But he knew...
"Do it, I don't care." With that, he slammed the phone back on the hook. Isabella walked with soft footsteps, appearing in the doorway to the kitchen.
"Hey."
"Good morning mamas." He smiled wide, acting like he hadn't just talked to his mom but Isa heard him when she walked down the stairs. She moved closer and wrapped her arms around him.
"You okay?" His smile faded a little but he nodded.
"They're not gonna come back until next week."
"I'm sorry."
isabella wanted to make him feel better but there was nothing she could do, other than be there for him. she admired him for always putting on a brave face, always trying to do the best he could with a bad situation.
"It's alright..."
"Do you have any plans today?" He asked, hands moving up to cup her cheeks. She shook her head.
"Can we hang out, just you and me today?" Fuckshit placed a soft kiss on her forehead.
"I'm down."
Isabella got ready in Fuckshits room. Putting on her pants but keeping his shirt that she slept in. He went through his drawer and threw her a grey hoodie.
"Here, it feels like fucking antarctica outside."
She just replied with a laugh. California residents always exaggerated when it came to the weather. Anything below 80 and they acted like polar bears were roaming the streets. She threw the hoodie on and made their way out the door and for once he didn't bring his board. All the boys were basically glued to their boards and always had them with them. His only focus was on her.
They walked and Fuckshit reached out to intertwine his fingers with hers. They got to the record store downtown, Isa had only been there one time before. It had everything you could possibly want. Posters were slapped on the walls, CDs took up most of the place but there was also vinyls, cassettes and VHS. They went to the CDs first, flipping through the stacks.
"Remember this one?" That smug smile was present on his lips. It was the familiar cover of Snoop doggs - Doggystyle. It brought back memories of their night together.
"Good memories." She replied with a wink.
"What if we relive those memories tonight mamas?" Fuckshit came up behind her and whispered into her ear.
"Oh you would like that, wouldn't you?"
He stole a kiss before moving away to look through the hiphop section. Isabella listened to most genres but she only brought a few with her when she moved. She had Nirvana, Dr Dre, Rhe smashing pumpkins... It would've been nice to get something new so she wouldn't have to go over the same albums over and over but she didn't have the money or rather, she had other things she wanted to spend her money on. Pills. Mostly she blew all her money when she was visiting Nick. She wanted to pop a pill but not when Fuckshit was around. Maybe he had something they could smoke later to ease up a little though.
"Alright, imma buy this shit and then we go for tacos." He held up Nas - Illmatic. She hadn't heard it but she wasn't the best at keeping up with albums. If she heard something good on the radio or at a party then she bought it.
Fuckshit payed for the CD and put it in his back pocket. They walked out the store and ended up talking all the way to the taco place. They talked and laughed, just like they had done before it all went down. It felt nice that things were normal once again. They were ordering their tacos and they always ordered the same thing. She reached for the cash in her pocket but Fuckshit stopped her.
"It's on me ma, see it as a date." He winked at her and she laughed.
"How romantic." They sat down on one of the tables outside. It didn't take long until their food was brought out.
"I fucking love this shit! If I could only live on one thing it would be this motherfucker right here." She smiled wide to him. it always made her smile when he was happy.
"Nah, I would go with Joe's pizza. No one does it like Joe."
"Joes? you don't know what you talking bout' mamas." He replied in a playful tone.
"Look who it is! you two talkin' again?" It was Ray's voice creeping up behind her. The rest of the boys was there as well and took their seats around the table. Fuckshit started dabbing them up.
"Yeah, things can change quickly."
"You tell me." Ray replied teasingly. The rest of the boys started talking so Isabella turned to Ray.
"We good, we talked about things."
"So... what are you now?" She sighed, not knowing exactly what to say. Shey hadn't talked about putting a label on them yet. Isabella had told him that she didn't want to see him run off with someone else, so in some ways they were exclusive.
"We're not gonna fuck around with other people." Hopefully that was enough of an answer to his question.
"A good start ey."
"I think so."
He nudged her shoulder with a smile. It had been hard having Ray so worried about them, hopefully he could relax more now that things were back to good between her and Fuckshit again. Isabella knew she could breath out now when everything was back to normal.
