Standing in the freezing rain for that god-damn music video scene that didn't even make it into the final video really made your cold feel so much worse.

Last time you were sick was when you got food poisoning for eating one too many airplane meals—and that was about a good three years ago. You've had years of traveling under your belt and now know how to avoid the bad, un appealing food in order to prevent the typical upset stomach that would occur, but you had no idea as to why you feel so groggy all of a sudden.

It didn't help that you woke up alone, which always put a damper on your mood. You found that the big king size bed felt almost too big when you rolled over again, and again, trying your hardest to feel her presence.

This morning, and late into yesterday, Liyah had a call back for another un-named project—that she would never tell you what movie or role she would auditioned for, and then inevitably end up getting of course. There was never any real reasoning behind her decision, she just liked seeing the flabbergasted expression on your face when it was publicly announced. Mystery was a huge thing for her and every single project of hers so far you've found out through the media. Which you didn't mind, surprises were among one of your favorite things to receive.

It also was a bonus for you because seeing her reaction to watching the final cut was always so pleasing to you. Watching the girl get excited over certain scenes in her movies was truly adorable. She took so much pride in her work and to know that everything went exactly how she and the rest of the cast planned it meant the world to your favorite little perfectionist.

But now this all means that you will be alone for the next hour or so.

You sighed and rolled over to your side. Scooting over, you reached your hand out to the bedside table, moving for your phone, in doing so you found your cellular device with a little stickie note attached to the front of it.

Miss you, darling! I'll be back soon enough and then we can spend the rest of the day together. On my way home I'll pick you up some of that take-out from that restaurant you love to eat at!

Peace and Love, dimples. xo

You smiled and thought about how you should really get up to fix yourself up for Liyah; the sight she saw when she got up must not of been that pretty, you thought, you'd better make yourself presentable before she came back.

You rose up and immediately collapsed back down to the comfort of your own pillows. Your head did not feel like that two seconds ago, and since when did you start to get random chills all of a sudden?
