The activity this afternoon was fun. The family who booked the afternoon was completely amazed by the underwater's hidden beauty. But then there was this girl who joined and did nothing, but just watch them all having fun.
She said she was already doing something by watching them—I mean, true enough, but she's already boarded a free ride and activity, and yet she didn't take advantage of it. Or maybe she doesn't really want to do it since she didn't pay anything for it. That's fair. I'll give that to her.
Though we didn't get to talk much when her boat ride fetched her up just after the afternoon activity, her name's quite fitting for her. Quarantine. Sounds so funny.
I got off early as well. Bukod sa wala na kaming schedule later in the afternoon, I could look around the island in the meantime... or maybe, find my way to her? Could be a good idea, or worst, a really BAD one.
I left the island, hop on my bike and quickly head back home and grabbed a quick shower. I was really expecting a message from tita about their situation at the hospital now, baka bisitihan ko na lang sila mamaya kung anong balita na.
When I'm done preparing for a shower, the funny thing here is, I couldn't get that girl get out of my head. I know a few friends from the place she was staying in right now, maybe I could catch up with her again.
I know she's into me. She wouldn't kiss me if she was not.
Maybe I should just check in on her and if she would be okay with my proposal earlier. Or it could be the worst rejection I've ever gotten from a girl. I hope it wouldn't be. She's pretty so that's kind of heartbreaking.
I headed to the hotel she was staying not knowing what would happen. I'm not sure if she's here or if she even has the care to give me a fuck—not what it really means, but would she even really care? She's pretty, but this girl has an attitude.
Or I could be wrong.
Sure not.
I walked inside the hotel, I know someone who works there I headed straight towards the reception area and look for him. Unfortunately, when I ask and look for my mate, they told me he took the day off. I was a little disappointed, but I couldn't do anything beyond that.
So, I was about to leave when I saw her.
She walked towards the swimming pool area. I watched her find a place to sit there. I went there, but the receptionist called me.
"Saan ka punta, sir?"
"My friend," I said. "That's my friend, right there—well, the other friend." I even pointed in her direction so this receptionist would let me go.
Because she knew me—not personally, but she just let me go and headed towards the swimming pool area. I know it's prohibited for outsiders, but I have a friend here.
Well, she doesn't know that yet.
From afar, at least, still not trying to evoke my presence, she looked so stressed and that could be something she was working on. She said she's a travel blogger, maybe she's having a hard time doing anything... that's why I'm here to help.
