Once and for all

Fatima gets dressed and is now in the kitchen making coffee. Zac walks downstairs and sits on the couch. He's quiet and staring into his phone. Fatima embarrassed by her lack of trust, attempts to rectify the situation. Fatima: baby you want some breakfast before I leave. Zac: No I'm good. Short and to the point, Fatima notice's immediately. Fatima: coffee? Zac: I'm good. Fatima: we'll baby I'm about to head out I should be home around 6. Zac: why 6? Fatima: oh...... babe I have to make a stop. Zac: I got that but where? Fatima: I'm going to get my nails done, she lied. Zac: baby I know this is new for us, but I want to know if your not coming straight home from work just like you want to know what time I get home when I'm playing basketball. Fatima taken aback by Zac's forwardness in how our relationship will run. Fatima: no problem babe that's why I telling you now. Zac: you didn't know yesterday? Fatima stares with a dazed and confused look. Fatima: I'm sorry baby, it won't happen again. Zac: thank you. Fatima realizes Zac still feels a type of way about this morning. She Contemplates whether or not to disclose her insecurities. Fatima: baby I know you're mad at.....Zac cuts her off. Zac: wait wait Fatima I'm not mad. Fatima rolls her eyes knowing that he's mocking her. Fatima: ok not mad, annoyed. Zac: oh you talking about how you blew up and jumped the gun on your birthday surprise?, No I'm not annoyed, he says sarcastically. Fatima grabs her pocket book and reaches for her keys when Zac grabbed her arm. Where you going he asked, we,re in the middle of a conversation. Fatima attempting to grab her keys. Fatima: I'm going to work. Zac; oh so you don't like when I act like you hun.? Can I look through your phone Fatima? Damn! Zac let's go her arm and walks upstairs. Fatima in that moment realize how mad Zac was. She was left with her own thoughts. She called Andi and asked if she could take a personal day. She decided in that very moment that they were going to fix there issues once and for all.
