Zac&fatima unseen

A family outing

It's 12:39 and Zac still isn't home. Fatima is dressed and sitting on the couch waiting. She didn't either bother to call him because she knew this was going to happen. Jace is sitting on the floor playing on his iPad when someone knocks on the door.  Knock knock
Fatima opens the door, Deja: awww look at your big o'l belly hey neighbor is Zac here? Fatima can not stand Deja, every since Belinda sent that pic of deja giving Zac a lap dance.
Fatima: Deja he's not here is something wrong? Deja: yes my sink isn't draining. I think my pipes need to be unclogged , she says seductively. Deja I'll tell him when he gets in. Deja: Fatima thank you so much doll. Just then Fatima's phone rings. She closes the door and answers.
Fatima: hello. Heather: hey Fatima where my baby . Fatima rolled her eyes at this hot ghetto shit. Fatima: Jace, come here baby mommy's on the phone. As Fatima gives Jace her phone Zac walks in. Zac: Fatima come on let's go. Fatima just stands there shaking her head. Fatima: Zac it's 1 o'clock. You said you would be here by 12. Zac: babe I know but I'm here now come on. Fatima: Zac ! Really, you just going to brush past the fact that you told me one thing and doing another? Zac: who is Jace talking to? Fatima: ZAC!! Do you hear me talking to you? Zac walks up to Fatima and looks at Jace. Zac: do you really want to do this now? Fatima bites her lip and rolls her eyes. Fatima: No I don't. Zac: I didn't think so. Can we go or did you Change your mind? Jace gives Fatima her phone back. Zac picks him up and puts his sneakers on. Fatima is fuming but they both agreed to not argue in front of the kids, that if a conversation was going to get heated they would revisit it when the kids were sleeping. Zac knew exactly what he was doing. He knew I wouldn't press the issue In front of Jace. She thought. Fatima grabbed her bag and Jace sippy cup out the refrigerator, she walked out the door with Zac and Jace following. As she puts her bag in the car Deja yells over. Hey Zac did your girlfriend tell you I need a plumber? In unison they both said FIANCÉ, they looked at each other and didn't say a word. Zac: Deja I'm calling a plumber now I'll text you. Fatima: make sure you strap him all the way in he's been getting out. Zac: I got it Fatima. Fatima: Well the last few times I took him to the store he's been getting out. They all get in the car, Zac: where we going Fatima. Fatima: if you were on time you would know, she mumbles. Zac: what Fatima? Fatima: I text it to you, it's in the messages. Zac shakes his head as he sets the navigation for there outing. 23 minutes and we'll be there buddy.

A half hr later they pull up to the farm, Zac parks and then gets out to open the door for Fatima, then gets the radio flyer out the truck for Jace. Fatima unbuckles Jace and puts him in the the wagon. The walk in the farm was quiet. Fatima still irked because Zac was late. She's waddling around showing Jace all the animals. About one hour into the tour Jace falls asleep in the wagon.
Zac: babe you were right to bring the wagon.
Fatima: yep.
Zac: soo are you hungry?
Fatima: I could eat
Zac: you want to head over to the food court?
Fatima: that's where the food is!
Zac: yo you still mad? What's with these one worded answers?
Fatima: what's so important that you had to go in the office on your day off? Then when I agree to it, you don't keep your word or timekeeping. I know your business is important, but we are about to expand our family, it's important to me that we make time for us.
Zac: Baby your right I'll do better.
Fatima: yeah I heard that before.
Zac: Fatima cut me some slack. I'm trying to set things up so that I can take time off when the baby come so that I can help you.
Fatima: Zac it's simple. Don't say one thing and do another. Periodt.
Zac is frustrated with Fatima because he thinks she just doesn't get it. Before we could say anything else. Nathan and Lori walks up to them.
Nathan: yo Zac.,, Zac: Nathan what you doing here, Lori you remember my finance Fatima, right. Lori: oh yeah, hey how are you? Fatima: good and you. Nathan: hi Fatima. Fatima: Nate. Fatima doesn't care for Nathan or Lori for that matter, but she's always cordial. Nathan: aww I see little man is out. My two are running around here somewhere. Fatima how are you feeling? Your growing nicely. Zac: what Nathan...!!!' He never knows what to say to Fatima. She ignored him, Fatima; babe I'm going to get me a hot dog . Zac: you want me to walk you? Fatima; No I'm good I'll be back. Zac: be careful babe, that's my baby you walking with. Fatima rolled her eyes. When she made it back. Nathan and Lori were gone and Jace had woke up and was hungry.
Zac: see buddy she's right here. He was looking for you. Fatima: you hungry Jace? She feeds him the hot dog. They walk around the farm for another hour or so before packing up and heading home. In the car about 15 mins from there house, Jace dosed off again. Zac: so what time do we have to meet your parents? Fatima: I'm tired we can see them tomorrow at the sprinkle. Zac: whispering: I'm so sick of your attitude Fatima. We're going to dinner with your parents, that's it. Your not going to rope me into not going then guilt trip me for not making you. We're going . Fatima: I don't have an attitude she pouts.
Zac : when we get in the house can you shower and get yourself together I'll get me and Jace dressed.
Fatima: do I have a choice she says sarcastically.
They pull into the driveway. Zac opens Fatima's door then goes and grab Jace out his car seat.
