It's been two weeks since Fatima had Ava, and it's been a absolute adjustment. Between Fatima's lack of sleep, a rambunctious 3 year old and Fatima's mother trying to help. Fatima has been overwhelmed. Zac has been getting the brunt of her frustration. He takes it all in stride. After all the love of his life just gave him the joy of his life. It's 3am when Ava starts screaming. Fatima: Ava mommy is here baby girl relax. Fatima got Ava out the bassinet and put her in the bed next to her to nurse. That's when fatima realized Zac wasn't in bed. There was a knock on the door, fatima: yes mom. Sonya cracked the door open, Sonya: you want me to take her why you try to sleep? Fatima: mom I'm feeding her, when she's done I'll call you. Is Zac downstairs? Sonya: I think he's in the basement. You want me to get him for you? Fatima: No it's fine I was just asking. Sonya: we'll call me when you want me to come get her. Sonya closed her door back. Fatima has had a short temper since she's given birth. She wants to do things her way. As she continues to nurse Ava she text Zac asking was he sleeping in the basement? She didn't get a response. Once Ava went back to sleep she put her back in the bassinet and walked downstairs. There was a sink full of dirty bottles, the laundry room was filled with Ava's dirty clothes and her car seat was in the middle of the floor. Fatima went downstairs into the basement fuming. Fatima: so you couldn't wash the bottles in the sink. Instead you just let them pile up? Zac takes a deep breath and pauses the game. Zac: baby... you told me not to clean the bottles, you said you don't like the way I do them and to leave them. Fatima: because you don't do it right!! Zac: and that's why there not done. Fatima: we'll if you would listen to me you would know how to do it correctly. What about her clothes in the laundry room. What about that Zac. Zac: Fatima your mom said she would do them and you told her no, you said you wanted to do all Ava's things. So we haven't touched them. Fatima: you trying to be funny.... I know what I said Zac. Zac: ok so why you asking why shit ain't done if you know then? Fatima: who you talking to? You don't have to get like that because I'm asking questions. Zac: it's 3:30 in the morning you got the same attitude you had earlier about the same shit your mother and I tried to help out with. Instead of excepting help that looks different you want to do everything yourself and then complain it's not done stop it Fatima. Fatima just stood there with tears rolling down her face in exhaustion. Zac: now you crying omg baby won't you go in the guest room and get some rest I'll keep Ava and get the shit cleaned up. No arguing, just go Fatima. Fatima walked upstairs and Zac followed. When he walked in the bedroom Sonya was there with the baby. Sonya: is she going to finally listen and let us help? Zac: she has no choice because I'm sick of her snapping at me. Sonya: I can take Ava with me for the night. Zac: thanks mom I appreciate that. Sonya took Ava downstairs into her guest room while Zac cleaned up. It was 7:30am when the entire downstairs was cleaned all Ava's laundry was cleaned and put away. Zac made breakfast and Jace was downstairs watching cartoons. Sonya just finished putting Ava down after another feeding and the house was peaceful. Zac took Jace to get their haircut and to run some errands while Fatima slept. Sonya got Ava dressed packed 2 bottles and took her for a stroll through the park. When Fatima woke up it was 1 o clock in the afternoon. She went to the bathroom and thought to herself, i haven't slept this good in months. She brushed her teeth and preceded to put a face cleanser on. She started the shower and put her shower playlist on. 15 minutes into her shower while washing her hair she screamed. Fatima: omggg where is my baby!!!! Fatima jumped out the shower grabbed a towel. Ran into Zac and her room. Walked down to Jace room, nothing ,  walked into the playroom before walking downstairs. She checked the downstairs guest room and the entire basement. Fatima ran upstairs to find her phone. There were 3 text messages from Zac 1 from Andi and 1 from her mom
Andi text: hey girl just checking on you and Ava. Hope you're being nicer to Zac 🤨😜

Mom: hey baby didn't want to wake you, I took Ava to the park and I may stop pass the library, get some rest see you soon

My Babe(Zac) : I love you baby I'm sorry I snapped and yelled. I know your tired. I'm just trying to help.
My Babe (Zac) : baby don't trip your mom took Ava to the park
My Babe (Zac): baby I'm taking Jace to get his haircut and maybe some lunch, call me when you get up.
Fatima took a deep breath. At first she was angry that Zac allowed her mom to take the baby out, then she was angry Zac took Jace without waking her up first. Reading Andi's text she realized that she has been pretty short and mean to Zac. Fatima got back in the shower and relaxed. When she was done she got dress and went down stairs to eat the breakfast that was left for her. She is still a little irked that her mother took her baby out the house but also realizes that if she didn't get the sleep that was allotted because of her mother she would still be suffering.
Sonya: let's go baby girl. As Sonya walks in the door. Sonya: Fatima, hey baby did you sleep well? Fatima: mom ... I did, thanks for keeping Ava. Although I was surprised when I woke up that my daughter had been taken. Sonya: Fatima ... taken, come on that's a bit dramatic don't you think. Fatima picks Ava out of her car seat. Fatima: No mom I don't think I'm being dramatic, I think that although it was sweet to take Ava for a walk. I am her mother, I would have liked to have been consulted. Sonya: we'll Fatima you were sleeping and Zac knew and was ok with it. Fatima was trying not to upset her mother but at the same time honoring her own feelings. Fatima bit her tongue and headed upstairs. Sonya: where are you guys going. Fatima: I am going upstairs to feed her. Sonya: Fatima don't go upstairs I didn't mean to overstep. Fatima: it's fine mom, I'm going to feed her and I'll be down later.
