Zac&fatima unseen

Tired

It's 10:50 at night and Zac sends a text.
Wifey: baby she had a boy. Imma stay for a minute to see when the dna will be done then I'll be on my way home. Love you.

Fatima was sleep with Ava on her left and Jace on her right. Fatima woke up at 2:20am to go to the bathroom. When she got back in bed she picked up her phone. Fatima called Zac. He answered on the third ring.
Zac: hey baby you ok?
Fatima: yes I just got up to go to the bathroom and saw your text are you home.
Zac: no baby, I must have fell asleep.
Fatima: fell asleep where?
Zac: I'm still at the hospital with Karen.
Fatima was silent. Zac cleared his voice and said " I'm on my way home".
Fatima did not respond. She just hung up. She carried Jace to his room and then Ava to the nursery . Fatima was pumping when Zac walked in.
Zac: hey baby
Fatima: hey.
Zac: do you want to talk or are you going to be passive aggressive?
Fatima with an attitude bypassed his last statement and just went in.
Fatima: If I'm not mistaken, you told me you were on your way home hours ago but managed to stay and fall asleep while at the hospital with Karen?
Zac: first off lose the attitude and just tell me what's wrong, I told you about that already.
Fatima took a deep breath and switched pumping sides.
Fatima: you said you were on your way home how did that turn into falling asleep?
Zac: now how hard was that? Zac said sarcastically.
Zac: Karen and I were talking about the DNA process with the nurse. When I was about to leave they brought the baby in so I stayed to spend some time with them. I must have dosed off, you know it's been a long day.
Fatima finished pumping and went downstairs to put the bottles in the refrigerator. As she's washing her hands attempting to calm down. Zac walks in behind her.
Zac: Fatima it's too early to be arguing, now you said you were fine with me going and now your walking around with a fucking attitude.
Fatima: I'm not arguing about anything. You said one thing to me and did the opposite. Cool no worries I'll just deal with it right. Whatcha say last week, this a dictatorship right, Dick run this right. I need to learn how to let a man be a man right? All this shit you want right? I have no problem being submissive to you , but your word should be your word. I just had a fucking baby and you want to play house with your ex.
And I ..... Zac cut her off.
Zac: hold up who you talking to? Ain't nobody playing house. Stop telling one thing when you mean something totally different. If you didn't want me to go I gave you the opportunity to say so. Now you mad because I fell asleep. Never mind getting up dropping your mom at the airport, trying to be there and support you with the kids and working, I'm not allowed to get tired and fall asleep? That's bullshit Fatima and you know it.
Fatima stood there saying nothing. Just staring at Zac.
Zac: so you don't have anything to say?
Fatima: oh I can talk now?, I was waiting for permission. Zac: yo so you telling me i make you ask for permission stop capping because even if i did you wouldn't. Look, I'm sorry I fell asleep and didn't come home when I said I was.
Fatima just grabbed her pump and went back upstairs. Zac laid on the couch the rest of the night.
