Silent treatment

Within 2 hours Fatima walked in the door. Zac was sitting on the couch and got up to help her in. Zac: why didn't you call me when you pulled up so I could help you in? Fatima: babe I'm good just stiff from sitting so long. Zac helped Fatima into the chair to sit. Zac: you still got an attitude? Fatima: Zac I told you earlier I'm good, I don't have an attitude about anything. Zac: yeah ard. The guys we're talking about going to the bar to watch the game. You good if I go out for a bit? Fatima looking in her phone not really paying attention to what Zac is saying . Zac: earth to Fatima! Fatima: babe I'm sorry yeah I'm good have a good time, I'm going to order a pizza for Jace and I, what time will you be home? Zac: idk sometime after the game goes off. Just call me if you need anything and I'll come home. Fatima: ok. Zac: ok....and? Fatima: and what? Zac: tell me you love me!! Fatima: babe come on like.... You know I love you. Zac kisses her and left out. Fatima ordered the pizza and while they waited she gave Jace a bath. Jace: tima when my baby come can she get a bubble bath with me? Fatima: lol not right away baby, but when she's a little bigger yes you can take a bubble bath with her. Ok buddy let's go your turning into a prune. While Fatima gets Jace out the tub her phone rings. Fatima: hey Andi what's up girl? Andi: heyyy friend how are you. Fatima: ok.... Friend what's wrong lol.  Andi: nothing I just wanted to check on you. Fatima: for what reason.....? Andi: look I don't want to upset you, but I just finished talking to Karen and she told me about Zac being in the delivery room when she have the baby, and I know you're not 100% on board with it but I think you need to consider the fact that it may be Zac's baby and if he's the father he should be there. Fatima: Andi what the hell are you talking about? Andi: what?... I know you don't like me talking to Karen about you and Zac but this is about Karen and Zac. Fatima: ok Andi first off I have no idea what you're talking about. Zac and I have not discussed anything about Karen's delivery. Andi: SHIT.... Fatima I thought he talked to you, I'm sorry the way Karen made it seem like it was discussed. Fatima: Andi let me call you back I'm getting Jace dressed. Fatima got Jace dressed and in his pjs. 15 minutes later the pizza arrived and Fatima was putting a movie on for her and Jace. Jace: tima, tima can we watch lion king please please please....? Fatima lost in her thoughts did not answer. Jace: timaaaaa. Fatima: Jace I'm sorry baby what you say? Jace: Can we watch lion king ? Within the first half hour Jace was sleep. Fatima contemplated calling Zac but didn't want to talk on the phone she decided to ask him about Karen once he got home. Fatima dosed off and around 11:30 Zac walked in. Zac: hey baby I texted you three times you good. Fatima: you did, Fatima grabs her phone, she indeed had 3 text from Zac, and 2 missed calls. Fatima: I see I must have dosed off. Zac: Jace got you watching lion king again hun? Fatima: yeah he did. Zac sat on the chair taking his shoes off. He walked in the kitchen to grab a water. Zac: babe you want anything out the kitchen? Fatima: did you talk to Karen today? Zac: that's mad random, why?? Fatima: because Andi called saying that Karen and you spoke, so did you talk to Karen today? Zac put his head down and took a deep breath. Zac: yes Fatima I talked to Karen today. Fatima getting frustrated, Fatima: ok about...? Zac: baby it's late I have to get up early to get your mom tomorrow can we not do this, please. Fatima: do what? I'm asking you a question why you have to be so dramatic. Zac: baby, yes I spoke with Karen today. I was going to talk to you about it earlier but we wasn't in the best space so I left it alone. Fatima: so you left it alone so that someone else could fucking tell me? !!! Zac: yo who you talking to? I just walked in the house and you want to hit me with the bullshit! Zac was upset and raising his voice. He was clearly upset and forgot Jace was sleep on Fatima's lap. Fatima whispering: are you fucking seriously like you don't see him sleeping. I don't care what space we were in, based off what Andi was telling me you should have made time to speak with me. So when we're you going to tell me you were planning to be in the delivery room with her? Zac: yo what are you talking about I never said that. She asked me and we were talking about it but I never said I was going to be there. Fatima sat up and proceeded to pick Jace up and take him to his room. Zac: yo what are you doing I got him, sit down. Fatima: it's fine I'm going upstairs anyway because you talking nonsense. Zac: Fatima your 9 months pregnant. You always trying to prove a point. Zac takes Jace out of her arms and takes him upstairs. Before Zac could come back down Fatima was already walking up. Zac went down to help her up and she pulled away from him. He took a deep breath and took her arm and helped her up the steps while she held the banister with one hand while cradling her stomach with the other. Zac: can you let me explain what the conversation involved? Fatima walked in there bedroom and preceded to take her clothes off to shower. Zac: so this what we doing? You just going to ignore me? Fatima sat down attempting to take her socks off. Zac sat on the floor in front of her and took her socks off. Zac: baby I don't want to argue can you please talk to me?. Fatima took her tights off and started taking her jewelry off. She walked In the bathroom and put her hair in a high bun. Zac: baby let me help you in the shower. Fatima still with the silent treatment as she ran her shower water. Zac: so you want to argue about me so called not telling you shit and now you want to be quiet while I'm asking you questions? Zac : which one is it, you want to talk or you don't? I don't get this shit.
