Zac&fatima unseen

It's been a few weeks since the couples date. There both making progress however they both are still not on the same page. They have been on a few more dates and Zac is ready to come home, and as bad as Fatima wants him there, she feels like it's too soon and she's scared to rush back into it.

Fatima: Mom I hear you, but we still have work to do.
Sonja: your not concern what signals your sending to your kids?
Fatima: Mom! My kids are fine. Zac and I go out of our way to ensure our kids aren't tainted by our situation.

Sonja: Fatima stop getting defensive. I'm just saying how long are you playing single mother when your fiancé has been trying to get back home for weeks. Y'all go on dates, he picks up the kids then go back to his hotel at night. Be careful what you ask for
Fatima. I've been around long enough to know that these girls lure and lurk around for a do right man.

Fatima: mom Ava just woke up I have to go.

Sonja: Fatima I'm not trying to upset you. I'm just letting you know, I've been there honey. Life with your dad hasn't always been easy.

Fatima: mom! You and dad have always been good as far as I can remember. Barely any arguments.

Sonja: honey please, we did a good job of hiding it. We went through plenty in our relationship. But we never left, we stuck it out.

Fatima: ok mom I really have to go, Ava is crying. Love you talk to you later.

Fatima feels some type of way about her mom insinuating she left Zac. Fatima: fucking baby boomers and their thinking.
Fatima: ok Ava relax I know you're hungry. As Fatima was setting up on the couch to nurse Ava when her phone rung.
Fatima: hello
Zac: hey baby
Fatima: hey wasup
Zac: I'm calling to let you know Heather was keeping Jace until Sunday. She's taking him to the beach for a few days.
Fatima: oh ok I know he's gonna love that.
Zac: what you doing?
Fatima: feeding your daughter, what you doing?
Zac: nothing. You want some company?
Hesitant Fatima: ummm I don't know Zac
Zac : ok no pressure. Listen I'll call and check on y'all later ok?
Fatima: you're not mad are you?
Zac: no Fatima I'm not. I'll talk to you later, love you.

Over at the hotel Zac definitely feels a way around being rejected by Fatima but is learning not to react to her feelings. Through therapy he's learned that the entitled emotions are unhealthy. So instead of trying to convince Fatima why she should let him over, he respects her boundaries and acknowledge her feelings. Zac's phone rings

Zac: Yo
Tony: what up playboy
Zac: wasup
Tony: chilling man I was calling to see if you want to hit up ball busters and hit a few rounds
Zac: I see you trying to get your ass kicked cool what time ?
Tony : like 8, 8:30
Zac : ard I'll meet you there.
Zac went and got something to eat before stopping to see Karen and the baby. He sent Fatima a text letting her know his plans.

My heartbeat:
Baby I just wanted to let you know I'm going to Karen's to see the baby. I shouldn't be long but afterwards I'm meeting Tony to shoot some pool.

Nope! She's not roping me into a argument.  Zac said while getting himself together. He's gonna grab a quick bite to eat then make his way to Karen's.

Back at the house Fatima just finished putting Ava down for a nap. She's irked about Zac going to Karen's house. They spoke about the situation with Karen at therapy. Let's just say they agreed to disagree. Dr. Reid has encouraged continued dialogue in respect to this topic simply because Zac is the Father so a resolve is inevitable. It wouldn't be a loaded topic for Fatima if Karen would know her place and with her and Zac technically separated she's feeling uneasy.

Fatima: hey girl what you doing?

Angela: nothing just finished making dinner for Brice and I. What you doing?

Fatima: nothing I just put Ava down. About to make me a salad or something.

Angela: why you sound like that?

Fatima: girl Zac is on his way to Karen's to see the baby.

Angela: ok....? What's wrong with that.?

Fatima: we'll for one we haven't had sex in damn near three months. He's going alone. I know he's irked with me because he asked to come over and I said no.

Angela: Fatima stop! It's his baby he should be seeing her. And girl the way he's fighting to get back into your good grace I can't see him risking it all for someone he does not want.

Fatima: and he talking about he's meeting up with Tony afterwards .

Angela: ok..... and?

Fatima: look girl my mom got in my head I just need to think.

Angela: about what T?

Fatima: basically saying that if I keep doing what I'm doing I'm gonna lose Zac to another woman.
Like is that what she wants. I'm trying my best to get on the same page. How are we going to get married and we're dealing with these issues, I rather fix our problems and then marry the love of my life but I'm not willing to put a time frame on it when we're ready he will move back in.

Angela: I hear you...... but I also hear your mother.

Meanwhile Zac just pulled up to Karen's.

Karen: come in Zac, I don't bite. 🙄
Zac: don't start, I was coming how's little man?
Karen: missing his daddy
Zac: I asked you if he could come to my house, you acting weird and shit
Karen: naw, your little girlfriend will not mistreat my son.
Zac: the fact that you think that would happen or even be allowed is crazy to me. Look, Kaz is my son he should be allowed at my house period.
Karen: I don't trust your bi....
Zac: don't do it, don't do it. My fiancé you mean
Karen: yeah that's it.
Zac: my main man Kaz, wasup bul.!
Zac sits on the couch and bonds with his son.
Meanwhile at the house Fatima is trying to not think about Zac being at Karen's. She gave Ava a bath and put her down for her afternoon nap. Fatima is now cleaning the kitchen when she gets a call from Andi.

Andi: hey girl what you doing?
Fatima: hey Andi, just cleaning the kitchen wasup?
Andi: oh nothing how's Ava doing.?
Fatima: .... Good, napping why??
Andi: just making conversation
Fatima: Andi wasup, you called for a reason, what's going on?
Andi: Do you know where Zac is?
Fatima: I do.!
Andi: ok just making sure.
Fatima: Yup I'm aware....
Andi wasn't trying to be messy, and as much as she loves Karen, she doesn't want Karen to intentionally hurt Fatima.

Andi: Ok I just wanted you to know, I'll go. I'll see you tomorrow right?
Fatima: Bright and early!

Zac left her text message on read.
