"Hey baby, how was Jisungs?" My mom asked me this before my body even hit the passenger seat. I know she had been worried and scared.

Along with Yeji, who was in the backseat. She was leaned up between the two seats, eager to know.

I put a thumbs up, it may have seemed nonchalant to them, but I didn't know how to express that I really did love spending time there.

"That's good, I'm glad you could get out a little. Baby steps my dear," she smiled, "oh! I have to go to the store by the way. We're gonna pick up some snacks and stuff for the week so I need you two to come in."

As much as I didn't want to do it, I agreed. I wasn't in the mood to put up a fight. I had been so relaxed I didn't want to give it up yet. I wanted to be selfish.

"Thank you."

I nodded, and then turned my direction out the window. I watched as the trees past by so fast. I saw small kids playing and having fun. People sitting on their porches.

I wonder what's it's like, to just breathe. Breathe and not have anything on your mind. To play freely and have fun. What was it like to genuinely be happy, I had forgotten.

When we reached the grocery store, I got out slowly. Adjusting Jisungs pants so they didn't fall down. I gripped and tied the strings tighter.

After we got into the store, my mother had went a separate way and told us to grab whatever we wanted.

"What do you want to eat?" Yeji asked.

I shrugged. I didn't rlly have the desire to request food. I'd just nibble here and there on whatever was bought.

"Okay well if you see anything just grab it, I'm just going to go down there a little to pick out my lunches, is that okay?"

I nodded, I'd be fine since nobody in public approaches me. I look too scary for that I guess.

I reached my hand out to move a box of cereal. I was curious as to what all was on the shelf. As my hand reached out, so did another hand. "Oh, sorry! I wasn't looking. You can have it."

It was a voice you couldn't forget.

A voice that made every limb in my body grow cold and limp. I slowly turned my head to look at the owner of the hand.

We made eye contact as my body simultaneously fell down. Directly on my ass. My hand flew up to cover my mouth as they shook. My eyes blurred over, filled with unwanted liquid.

It was him.

"Shit, Are you okay?!" He took a step closer, his hand reaching out.

But I held my hands up in defense, cowering like a child, "please.." I whispered, "please don't come near me," my voice cracked.

It sounded weak. I hated it.

My breathing grew quicker and I soon lost control of it. I kept chasing and chasing to catch it. I let out a gut wrenching cry that got everyone's attention. All eyes on me as my arms wrapped around my stomach, and I gasped for air.

"Please please please please," I repeated like a broken record. "Please please please."

I don't know when it happened, but my sister was now at my side. Whispering in my ear, "Hyunjin, it's me Yeji. Shhh shhh its okay. Take a minute, listen, and feel how I'm breathing."

I couldn't hear, I couldn't hear anything but the sound of glass being shattered, the sirens. And the sound the broken radio. Scratching and screeching in my ears.

I spoke again in attempt to be loud over the noises in my head, "Felix.."

His eyes widened, "m-me?"

Then... I passed out. Anything that had happened after, is not in my brain.

That part is not my story to tell.
