choose your words, master your tongue for she has devilish intentions disguised
I stared at the painting in my hand, my heart palpitation on rapid mode. He knew. All along he knew what he wanted from me. The scythe, him bringing me here and tricking me into thinking what he has done to me has a cure, but it does not.
I stared at my hand, the lines have already engulfed my entire arm and it already looks like death. I knew it, he lied. I threw the portrait across the room.
Raking my hands furiously in my hair. 'You lied to me!' I yelled. 'You lied when I believed you.' I stood up and leaned against the opposite wall. Lightning strikes hard indicating a huge storm outside.
Blanchet pushed me deeper into his webs of lies and forced me to come along with him only to find out it was all a hoax. He never cared about me or even tried to. I knew from the start that he is a trickster but still I trusted him. I let him use me for his own pleasure.
'Damn him!' I shouted as I kicked all the books that were on the floor until the door opened. A peculiar lady stood there. I do not know her, she might be Alexander's sister who knows?
I picked up the scythe. 'Forgive me for intruding.' I said as I wiped my tears.' I was already on my way. '
As I attempted to take a step forward, she stepped forth as well. 'No, Zadie. I am not part of the Blanchet family, but I do promise you that I am here to help you.'
I pointed to her with the scythe. 'What do you want?'
'My name is Celeste. I was sent here by Blanchet to help you.'
She confessed. My anger built up again upon hearing Blanchet's name.' Do not come near me, you imbecile.'
'What?' she inquired, confused at my behaviour I assume. 'I mean no harm.' She raised both of her hands. 'I am just here to ensure your safety.'
I narrowed my eyes at her. 'What kind of safety?'
'Zadie, please drop the scythe. 'She whispered.
'Why are you whispering?' I asked. I twisted the scythe around my hands. Playing with it. 'Are you afraid I might do it?'
Her eyes opened wide in shock, and I laughed. 'For someone who claims to know me well you must have known that have crossed my mind. do you blame me?'
She shook her head as if she is afraid to use her words. It is funny how desperate Blanchet is. Ordering a lady to stop me from what he started. Oh, silly me, let me correct. He ordered a lady to stop me from doing exactly what he wanted.
'You do know that he loves you right?' she asked, hoping to get a positive reaction from me.
'Do you purposely murder someone you love?'
Celeste attempted to move closer to me, but I threatened to use the scythe on her.' Do not you dare. One step closer will cost you your life.' I giggled. 'it is funny how I am the one facing that situation. Sacrificing my own life for his twisted desires.'
'Stop being selfish Zadie!'
I placed the scythe on the table and walked to the opposite wall. 'Define selfish.'
'Someone who wants everything to themselves and does not even think how their actions affect another.' She answered correctly.
'I agree, I raided his carriage and that was utterly wrong.' I turned to face her with rage written on my face.
'Did you think you would just raid his carriage and live happily with the gold you acquired?' she asked. I shook my head.
'The gold was for the people!'
