Here I am packing my and Ruhi's bag for a trip to Boston with Karan and that so called best friend of his. True to his words Karan ensured that there is no way left for me to deny.

He just casually showed Ruhi pictures of Boston and also brought her favorite food so that none my talks and buttering Ruhi about denying the offer register in her mind. To my dismay, his tricks worked and Ruhi became adamant to go to Boston and keeps talking about it day and night. Thought the last nail was dinner yesterday night.

After tempting Ruhi for an entire week and ensuring she uses all her cuteness and tricks against me, we three finally sat together for dinner and Karan opened his final cards.

"Ruhi, what all would you like to see when we go to Boston?" He said.

"Isn't she too Young to know that" I said being skeptical.

"Did I  ask you, you just focus on packing." He retorted.

"I haven't agreed on coming or letting Ruhi go, so there is no point of packing." I snapped back.

"Please state your reasons for denying us all the trip to Boston and let me and Ruhi judge that." He said with authority.

"Yes mumma, please tell me why can't we go." Ruhi added being the papa's pet that she is.

"Ruhi, baby I have a lot of pending work to do. Mumma and Ruhi will go some other time." I said to her.

" I asked Shruti and she told you you are free and you are way ahead of deadlines." Karan countered.

Damn Shruti, can't this girl keep her mouth shut. Ruhi looked at me with more confusion now and I really didn't wanted her to doubt me.

"Oh yes, sorry I forgot I completed it. Okay okay let's go." I said finally because I know more argument and denying will only make me villain in front of Ruhi and I definitely don't want that when already a problem is looming around.

Ruhi's excited voice brought me back to reality. "Mumma, I got my things ready. See my bag is packed." She Said showing the cute unicorn bag that Karan brought for her, which was now dangling on her shoulders.

"What have you put inside the bag Valentine?" I asked smiling.

"Mumma, there is a lot of impowant stuff in there. See, I have my unicorn, my chocolates and my favorite night soon in here." And she started showing me everything one by one. "Mumma, my favorite shoes couldn't fit it so I I alweady wearing them." She said whining and I couldn't control myself anymore and laughed out loud.

She looked at and she started laughing too without understanding the reason without it. Kids are so innocent. I went to her pulled her cheeks, "How cute. Very good girl. All this is good, but what about clothes, toothbrush, comb and your other things."

"Offo mumma, I forgot about them and now they won't come in my bag, what should I do?" She asked really looking tensed.

"Don't worry Valentine, I will put all that with me in my bag." I Said patting her head and she smiled hugging me, her excitement for her first trip visible.

I completed my packing under my daughter's supervision and finally made Ruhi sleep as we have 10a.m flight tomorrow which means we need to leave by 8 in the morning.

Next morning I woke up at 6 and made sandwiches and then woke Ruhi too. We both got ready and as promised Karan was on my door by 7 a.m despite my many protest he was adamant on going to airport together.

He was in his casuals and it's always a site to behold. I asked him if he would like to have some sandwich and he sat on table with us. Ruhi had her milk and oatmeal while me and Karan had sandwiches with tea.
