KARAN'S POV:

Next morning I woke up and all that Tejasswi said and did last night came back. Her words really hurt me this time. How could she even think like that about me. Though she apologized but this time it's difficult for me to forget it all and move on. She seriously thinks such low of me, maybe she said all that in anger but now I will maintain my distance. She needs to trust me and only then we can move ahead and this time I am going to take a backseat.

If all thoughts going on in my mind I made my way to washroom and get freshen up and got ready. Once done I decided to check on my princess. I stood outside the room of Teju and found the door slightly ajar. Teju was ready and was now waking up Ruhi.
"Valentine, baby wake up, don't you want to see Boston?" She said softly, ruffling her hairs and Ruhi immediately got up with a huge smile on her face. "Yes, Mommy, I want to go out" my princess replied all excited.

Each time Teju calls Ruhi Valentine gives me a sense of happiness as that's really special for both of us. Finally I knocked and both immediately looked me. Ruhi came running to me and I took her in my embrace. "Good morning Princess," I said.

"Good morning Papa" She said giving me a kiss on my cheeks. From the corner of my eyes I saw Teju looking at us and smiling, and then she started coming towards us, "Good morning Karan" she wished me, and to be honest my heart felt content listening it but I hid my smile and ignored her.

"Princess get ready fast then we will go out for breakfast." I told Ruhi who went running to the bathroom and I hurriedly left the room as the way Teju was looking at me I so wanted to hug her.

TEJASSWI'S POV:

Karan left without even wishing me good morning, yup that hurts but this time I won't back off, since Ruhi has gone to bath, I decided to start with first step of my plan and taking two short body hugging dresses, I went to living room only to find Karan engrossed in his mobile as usual.

I tapped on his shoulder and when he looked at me, I gave him a very sweet smile and showed both dresses. "Umm... Karan can you please help me suggest what I should wear as I have no idea where we will be going today, so if you could just choose." I added the explanation.

Karan looked at the dresses for a minute and then gulped narrowing his eyes he said, " Wear whatever you want , it's not like we are going on some rides or what, wear anything comfortable as we might have to walk while visiting different locations."

He stressed on the word comfortable which was a clear clue for me not to wear these but huh I can't wear anything comfortable today as I want his all attention on me. I went to my room and Checked my wardrobe again and wow how could I forget my black dress, it's knee length and shows off all my curves and is neither too short nor too revealing, yet teasing.

I got ready along with Ruhi and came out of the room and as usual Ruhi ran to her Papa. Karan took her on her lap and since our girl chooses her own outfit, Karan always ensure to praise her which makes her giggle and she showers him with lots of kisses. I wish I could do the same, "Teju, control your damn hormones, you have to win him before thinking dirty", my subconscious scolded. Karan's gaze finally landed on me and his eyes widened and I mentally did a happy dance as all the efforts of changing again n getting ready seems worth it.

Karan cleared his throat bringing me back to the reality. "Let's go, there is tea and breakfast Cafe nearby, we can go there." We all went down and that's when I noticed Jess ain't around and Karan told me that she has went for her meeting and I am quite happy to know that.
