THE HALF OF IT

Part - 28

When I came inside the room I saw the most beautiful view with, Teju and Ruhi lying together, with arms around each other and giggling. I went to them and silently forwarded the glass of milk to Teju who made a bad face seeing it. I helped her sit and handed her the milk which she just kept looking at.

"Tejasswi, drink it, it will help relieve your pain. I asked mom and she said the same."

"I don't like milk especially with the turmeric one", she said and scrunched her nose.

I look at Ruhi and wondered who is the kid here faceplaming myself. "Ruhi, ask your mummy to drink milk and tell it will help become stronger."

Ruhi nodded, "Mumma please drink it, see I too drink it each morning and I am soooo strong. If you won't drink it then I too won't drink milk from tomowwor (tomorrow). "

I smirked listening to my princess blackmailing her mom and knew it will work. Teju look at her horrified,"Fine, I am drinking but from where are you learning all these talks."

"Jess Aunty", Ruhi said Grinning and first time I was glad for my best friends notorious brain.

Teju's face suddenly fall down and she drank milk silently and Ruhi asked me, actually, ordered me to call Jess as I promised her to take her to meet Jess but since we ain't going so she asked for a video call.

"Princess, let's first order lunch and have it, then we will talk to Jess." I explained softly and she agreed.

While we three were still having our lunch, Karan's mobile started ringing. He checked it and a smile appeared on his face. He picked up the call, actually a video call and I hear a female voice, saying, "Karannn, show me Ruhi. I missed US. I was so waiting to see her and you canceled the plan."

Karan chuckled hearing her calm and said,"I am sorry Jess but Teju got little hurt so we had to stay back and trust me princess is missing you too. I was about to call you after lunch."

"Okay, okay, fine, I understand and forgive you this time, now show me my Ruhi." She said

What the hell, did that girl just called my Valentine her Ruhi and look at his smile, and why is he blushing man, what's happening. Have he really moved on with her? I am seriously feeling pissed and angry right now. I so want to throw all this food on his face and tell that stupid girl that they are Mine.

Ruhi left her lunch and excitedly got down her chair, and sat on Karan's lap. I took hold of my spoon tightly before I smash someone's face.

Karan, Ruhi and Jessica got busy in themselves, talking, laughing and giggling and I really felt like an outsider, someone who doesn't exist for them in this moment. I couldn't take it any more n took my plate and disposed the left over food in bin, kept the plate in sink and went to my room banging the door furiously and stomp my foot which I regretted instantly as pain shot through my leg making me sit and tears start flowing down my cheeks.

While me and Ruhi were talking to Jess, Teju suddenly got up with her unfinished food and the I heard the door getting closed with a thud. I couldn't understand what's wrong with this girl today. She is being grumpy for few days but today she looks damn irritated.

After talking to Jess I made Ruhi finish her food and we went in backyard to play. Shruti saw us from her backyard and asked me send Ruhi over to play with Tanya again, I have a strong feeling she is really trying to be our cupid and help us reunite and that's why she leaves us alone every chance she gets. Since I have to talk to Teju and I let Ruhi go and went to the Teju's room.

She was sitting on her study table, working on her laptop or more like beating the hell out of the keys. I know she can sense my presence and already is aware of me being here but still I cleared my throat to grab her attention.
She turned her face towards me and literally growled, "What?"

I was taken aback seeing her turning from aloof to angry but I schooled by expression and went to her and stood with my hips resting on the table, hands folded on my chest and ankles crossed, I know what effect that have on her and I can sew it and right now I need all the leverage I can have to make her say yes to what I am about to say.

Making my voice soft I Said, " Teju, Jessica is going for a trip to Boston."

Ugh...ugh I know it's a short update and my apologies for that but but whatever happens from here on in this is not my responsibility. I so wanted to give a happy update but _nikksss and sakeena changed my mind and whatever happens next is all on them so feel free to give them gaffe.

Next upadte on it's way super soon if I got time. Yups, I do have a personal life that keeps me busy. So sorry for making you all wait for Long durations and thank you for your patience and not giving up on the story.
