Chapter 8 (hospital)

                        Natalie's POV

Rosalie and I are currently sitting in the waiting room at the pack hospital. Apparently Rosalie walked into Ambers room and found her on the ground in the bathroom, bleeding. Because of me. Because i couldn't control my wolf.

I don't even know what happened. All I know is that my wolf came forward and blocked me out. I couldn't see anything. I couldn't hear anything. Then my wolf finally let me have control again and all I saw was my mate trying to get up while holding her side. I saw blood but by the time I comprehended what had happened she had already left.

I had one more chance. I blew that chance.

Ambers POV

I hear beeping. Shut up. I want to sleep. Fuck you beeping.

I open my eyes slowly and get used to the light. Where am I? Everything white. It smells like chemicals. Fuck you you fucking beeping shut up.

Just as im about to get up the door opens and I smell the sweet smell of my mates. Yum. Ok what the hells wrong with me?

"No, no baby lay back. You'll rip you stitches." Rose says rushing to my side. She gently pushes me down and covers me with the blanket.

"Where's Nat?" Rose freezes then continues to walk towards the window.

"She didn't think you'd want to see her." All of a sudden last night memories come flashing back. Well. Ok.

"Is she outside?" Rose nods and I try to get up again only to have her push me back down.

"Do you want to see her?" I nod and she leaves to go get her.

I know I should be more mad about this but in reality it was my fault. She's a wolf. An alpha wolf. She's possessive and me saying that last night. I was asking for it. So no I'm not mad though I do want to know if that's how she's going to be everyone I say something wrong?

"B-baby? I'm so so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you-

"It's ok Nat. Come, lay down with me?" She nodded and came over but hesitated when she saw the bandage wrapped around my waist and shoulder.

"It's ok." I say softly and reach up to grab her hand. Nat lays down and shoved her face into the crook of my neck taking in my scent.

"This can't happen again." I whisper feeling a tear run down my cheek. Why am I crying?

"I know, I'm so sorry my light. I lost control again, I'm sorry." Nat cries into my neck. I gently rub up and down her back with my good arm.

"I feel like every time we get somewhere something always happens. I just want to be able to be with you guys without the secrets, the pain from my past but this morning. This morning brought back a lot of memories I would like to forget. Rose when you touched me the first day I was here. The same thing. I- I just want this to stop." I start sobbing towards the end and feel rose come up from behind me and hugs me.

"I have an idea. Maybe it'll help you forget? How do you feel? Do you think your ok to walk around?" Rose asks and I scoff

"This is nothing compared to what I've been through in the past. I can run 5 miles if I wanted to." I start getting up and just as both of my mates are about to protest I hold my hand up.

"If you try and get me to lay back down I will make your life a living hell. Now you can either help me up or  shut up and sit back down." They seemed surprised about my language but get up and help me up being careful with my injuries.
