Chapter 10 (interrogation)

Ambers POV

"I um... what do you want to know?"

"How old are you for starters?" Nat's mom asks resting her elbows on the table.

"I'm 16, I'm going to be seventeen in a few months." She nods and takes a night of her food.

"How did you meet my daughter and her mate?"

"They were there on pack business and I ran into them... literally." Nat's parents give me a questioning look. I should probably elaborate.

"I was walking home from the gardens, covered in dirt and I didn't see your daughter and Rose. I ended up walking right into them knocking them both over." I see a slight smile appear on Nat's dads face. The girls are just full on smiling.

"Have you ever dated another female?" I'm slightly shocked by this question. All of a sudden some of my old memories come flooding back.

"Mother!!" Nat's shouts appalled

"Gloria!" Her father does the same.

"What?!? It was just a simple question." She defends

"No it's not and you know that mother. Can't we just have a nice dinner without you interrogating my mate please!?"

"I just want to get to know her. See what I'm dealing with!"

"What's your dealing with? Your not dealing with anything! She's my mate. She matters just as much as Rose yet I don't hear you saying you have to 'see what I'm dealing with' about her!!"

"We'll obviously your mates hiding something! How do I know she's not a danger to the pack?"

"Because-

"It's ok. To answer your question, yes I have dated another female before." I say trying to stop this argument before it escalates.

"See, she was hiding something! How do we know that she's not hiding something more dangerous hmm?"

"Mother, you will respect my mate or you can get out." Nat growls, her wolfs coming forward.

"That is no way of speaking to your mother!" Her mom shouts appalled by her daughters behaviour.

"Ok! Let's just all calm down."

"Amber, do you mind if I ask some questions now?" Her father asks

"Go for it."

"Boyfriend?"

"I've had a few, none that meant anything though." He nods

"Pack?"

"Rose water."

"Parents?"

"None that I want to discuss." He nods and looks at me with a little concern in his eyes.

"Where'd you learn to cook like this?"

"My grandmother taught me when I was very young."

"Pack rank?"

"Betas daughter."

"So let me get this straight, you come from the most homophobic pack I've heard of, your the betas daughter which I feel bad for considering I knew your parents and their way of thinking, and your bisexual?"

"Pretty much yeah."

"Well, that's fun." I laugh and agree.

The rest of the dinner went smoothly, Nat's mom who's name I found out was Gloria, stayed quiet most of the dinner and her dad who's name is Leonardo, Leo, he was pretty nice. He knew when to stop asking certain questions and he told me a lot about Italy, where I've always wanted to go. It seems so pretty, the food looks so good oh and don't even get me started on the history. Yum.

"I'm sorry about today my light." Nat says gently coming in beside me on the bed.

"Don't be, it wasn't your fault."

"Still, it was my parents, I should have stopped them from asking all those questions." I shook my head and looked up at her face, staring into her eyes. I reach my hand up and gently rub her cheek with my thumb.

"Let not talk about this. What happened happened, theres no point on dwelling on it." She nods.

I watch her eyes flick between my eyes and my lips. She slowly starts leaning in and I lean into her.

"May I kiss you?" I nod and her lips slowly press onto mine. The kiss was slow but the sparks were fast, god I love the sparks. Her lips are so soft and smooth.

I pull away running out of breath and we stare into each other's eyes. Nat's eyes drift off to behind me and I remember Rose is behind me. I turn around and see Rose sitting there with a smirk on her face.

"Well that was fun." She chuckles and I laugh while pulling her closer. That's what Nat's dad said.

"Shut up." I chuckle and lean in towards her lips. She leans in as well and our lips meet. Roses a little... softer? Than Nat.

"Fuck now I'm getting turned onnnnnn." Nat whines behind me causing me to tense. I know they're not going to force me to do anything I don't want to, I think they proved that. I pull always from the kiss but keep our foreheads touching.

"I can leave you guys alone for a while if you want toooo...." Rose looked confused before she realized what I meant.

"It's alright my love. Natalie being horny doesn't mean you have to leave." I laugh at the way she phrased that sentence. And at the word horny.

"You think that's funny huh?" I feel Nat's arms come around my waist and pull me towards her. I ignore the pain I feel in my side and turn towards her.

"Hilarious." Nat's fingers come down on my stomach and starts ticking me. She continues and I can barely breath that's how much I'm laughing, both of them laughing as well that is until Nat starts tickling my side. I groan really loudly and push her fingers away.

"Stop, stop, stop!!" I yell and when she does I grab my side through the bandage. I see both their faces turn into ones of concern and for Natalie, guilt.

"Kinky." I say out of breath, they look at me confused.

"How would that work? You know, for us...?"

"Baby you can't even say the word. I doubt that's something we'll have to worry about anytime soon." I scowl at Nat.

"Well maybe I was just trying to get used to the idea and in order to do that i need to know how it would work!"

"Ok, ok, I don't mean to offend you, I'm sorry." I mumble an it's ok and cuddle into between them.

"It would work like any other couple except with another person. Basically double the pleasure."

"Ah" I nod. Nat laughs a bit and then meets my eyes. Her light brown eyes look into mine with so many emotions. Lust, compassion, caring, kindness... love?

Nat leans down slowly stopping inches from my face. She looks from my eyes to my lips and brings her hand up touching my cheeks.

"Is this ok?" I nod and she leans down our lips finally meeting. She's rough yet soft and gentle at the same time. My body feels like it's covered in sparks.

We continue to kiss for another few moments until I finally realize what's happening. What is happening? I pull away and feel a little shocked honestly. Flabbergasted. What in  the hell just happened?

Without a word I get up and walk towards my room leaving Nat sitting there on the bed. I just need some time to try and comprehend what I'm the hell just happened.
