Nang malaman kong aalis na sila, I hurriedly left the room to meet up with them. I watched their group loading the carriage by packing belongings. I saw Mikhaela and she waves her hand to me saying goodbye. I approached her and give her a hug. I observed the king tending to his mount. I went up to him.

“Aalis na pala kayo?” I asked.

The horse startled. The king calms it down.
“Oh, I didn’t mean to frighten him. I’m sorry.” I said.

“It’s okay. Your highness.” He said.

“What brings you here?” he asked.

“I just wanted to say thank you again for the help you have given us. Tatanawin namin ng utang na loob ito. Maybe I could some help here?” I said.

"No problem. It has settled now. We will be leaving now.” He said and mounted his horse.

“Ahm, wait, your majesty. I-I hope you’ll reach your way safely and I am hoping you’ll come back here someday.” I said. May ibinigay akong pampaswerte sa kanya. It was a red chain with crystal beads that was knotted. It can be attached to a sword and was believed to provide good fortune to the wearer.

“I don’t know if you believe it but it can give you luck. Ito lang kasi ang alam kong maibibigay sayo. Please accept it.” I handed it to him but a few seconds, he was just staring at it.

“Oh, I’m sorry. I think you don’t like-“

“No, I’ll take it. Thank you, your highness.”
It was a relief that he accepted it. Everyone is ready to leave. My heart pounded with a piercing pain. I was unprepared and it happened quickly. I'm sure I'll miss them. I just had a brief encounter with them, but they were kind people. I made a mistake by judging them too quickly. They were wonderful people, and I adore their friendship. Someday, I wish to travel to their land.
