Chapter 33

Narrator's POV
(2 hours ago after Adel's capture)

The main palace in the north received an arrow with a note connected to it as a warning that something might happen there. Lucas was made aware of what had occurred. After having read the article, He went straight to the king's room.

Lucas yelled, "Cauis! We have a problem."  The king unlocked the door. He was already asleep when the mage interrupted.

The cold king threatened him, "What is it, make sure it was a sense that you woke me up during my sleep."

"The princess was here. "

"What?! "

"She was outside the main gate, but the knights of their kingdom eventually found her, but it was suspicious that the princess didn't want to leave with the knights, and furthermore, the princess was all alone walking all the way here? It doesn't make sense-"

The king commanded, "Bring Philip here. I need to catch up to them." The king's perception of what he heard had returned to normal. Then he understood that something might have gone wrong, and he came to the conclusion that Adel needed his help.

"Wait, Cauis. I thought you're not going to help the princess?"

"I change my mind."

"I'll notify the others to send you back up."

"No, Don't notify them. I'll go alone. Take off of the palace when I'm away. "

" Cauis, are you insane. You're going alone! You're facing the western kingdom. You're acting on your own again."

" I don't care! Just shut the f*ck up and do what I say! "

Before he could continue, Lucas interrupted the king, "Tell me. Is that because you cared so much about the princess? Are you already in love with her? Hey, I'm talking to you!" The king has left already. The king left the palace already donning his full armor to save the princess before the mage objected.

(Meanwhile, at the Gomez Empire)
Adel's POV

"Let go of meee!!!" Pagpupumiglas ko. Nang dumating kami sa palasyo ay hinawakan nila ako sa magkabilang braso at kinaladkad ako papasok. There were loyal to my father until Rupert manipulate them.

"Makinig kayo sa akin. Si Rupert ang pumatay sa hari, sa ama ko! I'm telling the truth! Paniwalaan niyo ako. Mamamatay tao siya. He is decieving all of you!! " I screamed. Hindi nila ako pinansin at patuloy lang sila sa kahihila sa akin.

Pumasok kami sa isang guess room. There I met Rupert sitting sipping tea. He looks relaxed and is expecting my arrival.

"Hayop ka! Pinatay mo ang ama ko!" I yelled at him.

"Release her. You may go now."

"Please don't blame it on your fiance; I'm sorry. I know it was a painful incident for your father."

" You psycho! What did you do to everyone?! "

"It took them a day to come to their senses, but never until I stopped giving them the wine, just like I did to your father. I only gave them wine with a hypnotic concoction to manipulate them." Sabi niya at lumapit ito sa akin.

Pinlanuhan niya ito noon pa. Everything was a lie. I never thought he would be such a dirty snake.

"Where are Jain and Emi? "

" Ah, that maid and your scholar? I see, there were in grave now, sleeping with your father. It  doesn't matter now as long as you here. We can live peacefully. " Bigla ko siyang sinampal-sampal ng malakas. Lahat ng sakit, galit at puot inilabas ko na lahat-lahat. I started to cry in anger and furious about what he tell me. He's really making it hard for me live. Kahit masakit na ang lalamunan ko sa kakasigaw at mura wala na akong pakealam as long as mapatay ko lang ang hayop na ito! May nakita akong vase sa center table at binasag ito. I get a piece of the broken vase and make it as a knife to strike him to death.  But before I could do so, he grab me forcefully.

"How dare you! I'll rather die than being with you and I will never love someone as good as a bug like you. " Sabi ko. Bigla niya akong hinawakan sa braso ng mahigpit. Ang sakit.

" Say it again. You think you could kill me?" He glared at me with murderous intensity, but I remained rigid.

"Your weak, Rupert. You're a cheater. Always playing filthy tricks. Well, it would not be surprising if you yourself are dirty as a sh*t." He gives me a punch in the stomach.

Napakapit ako sa tyan ko. He then grab my chin and force my mouth to open. May pinainom siya sa akin na nakalagay sa isang maliit na bote at nalunok ko ito. Bigla akong makaramdam ng hilo. The surrounding looks hazy. May sinasabi si Rupert na hindi ko maintindihan. Something is echoing in my ears. What did he just put on my mouth? Napaluhod ako sa sahig. My body went paralyzed. My breathing went heavy. I gave Rupert a fierce glare as I closed my eyes for the final time. Pagbabayaran mo ito ng malaki Rupert, I swear in my name. Makakaganti din ako sayo.
