—Hey Jc...I've heard that you have a little thing for Gigi—Cindy said on the passenger side of his truck as he took her home.
—¿Who said that? That's not true—
—I heard some people talk about it. I know you and her have been really close since you were babies but I want to hear you say, you don't feel anything towards her.—she looked at him, she really likes him. She always has, since freshman year. She waited so long for him to even look at her in the hallways.
—Gigi is my best friend, she always will be—he assured her.
—Good...I really like you Jc.—she confessed to him. So many years and now she finally had him, just how she wanted it. She wished for him at night.
—I like you too Cindy.—
—Don't you think it we would look cute together. Two basketball captains as a couple—
—¿I don't see why not?—he said without a care.—Hey do you have someone for the Winter formal?—he asked her.
—I was hoping you would ask me, I'll love to go with you—she smiled
—Let's go together—
they spent the rest of the night talking inside his truck until it was midnight. As much as he enjoyed it, he didn't feel good about it. With Gigi he could spent hours and hours talking and he would never feel tired but with other girls it was, like...boring.
Cindy is a great girl but she isn't the girl he wants, it's frustrating because the one he wants doesn't want him. It wasn't easy trying to replace her with another. She wasn't forgettable, she had even left a scar in Brian's heart.
In the locker room he would hear him talk about her. How he wished he didn't mess it up with her, how he missed her deeply. She was a special girl...Aj would try and convince him to win her heart again but Brian would say his time with her was over. He had missed his shot. But in reality he knew it was impossible from what had formally had happened between them.
—Hey dummy—she smiled to him as she hand him a flyer for the winter formal. —¿you Finally made them?—he asked her, looking at the paper.
—Actually you scum, it was me—Justin proudly said. —Of course, you made them—he rolled his eyes.
—Justin's art skills aren't bad. Don't underestimate him Joshua— laughed Gigi—¿What's so funny? I want to laugh too—Joey came into the conversation.
—Were laughing on how stupid ridiculous you look with those pants—
—It's called style Justin. Something you obviously don't know—he judged him, Justin was wearing the same shirt from yesterday just a different par of jeans.
—¡Help me!—yelled Chris running towards them, Lance was behind him, with a look of a killer.
—Oh..—
—¡Chris you better clean my car! You spilled coffee all over the seat!—yelled Lance, Chris hid behind Joey afraid.
—¿Who has coffee?—asked Britney with a smile—¿oh is it Starbucks? I love Starbucks—
—Oh great, a bunch of crazy people around my locker. Isn't it just lovely?—said Jc annoyed
—Sick dude I love that song.—smiled Justin all dumb—Isn't she lovely, isn't she wonderful—he sang, snapping his fingers
—Anyways— interrupted Gigi from the whole caos they were making.—Friday night, at the civic hall. I'm having my Party.—
—¿Why all early? Your Birthday isn't until another week?—
