As Jc was drove the car. Gigi gazed out the window, watching the snow fall slowly. She saw how little by little the sun went down, Knowing that the cold would be worse later or probably in a few minutes.

—¿What are you thinking of?—he asked, looking at her briefly and then the road once again.— Nothing really, tomorrow is Christmas.—she smiled, staring at him.

—I know, and then it's New Years.—

—Another year and same us.—she laughed.—Technically we aren't the same, we are...—he paused trying to come up with a word that defined their relationship and friendship — ¿situationship?—

—You'll always be my best friends regardless—she reached over to give him a kiss on the cheek.—Always, you're stuck with me—

—Sadly—she sighed, both laughed right after.

They arrived at the grocery store not long. Both had their jackets and beanies on, the snow on the ground seem to be getting thicker. They needed to hurry up before the roads were blocked. Once they started walking to the entrance, he reached over for her hand. Last thing he needed was for her to fall and get hurt, especially in these weather conditions.

—Let's hurry up before the snow storm hits, the roads might be blocked—he said, and Gigi nodded. It wasn't the first time they were out during a snowstorm but this one seemed a little more different.

They went inside, to find the place packed with people trying to buy food and other things since tomorrow was Christmas Eve. In less that 15 minutes Gigi was able to find all her supplies the problem was the big long lines in the cash register's.

—It's going to be a long time before we leave. Go buy something to drink while I wait in line—she told him, while she held the basket.

They spent over a hour trying to pay for their things and once they got outside, the snow had grew over a inch. They hurried up loading the things in ready to hit the road once again. The cabin was another 30 minutes, and it was already dark. The only thing lighting their way was the headlights of the car.

—I need to stop. the snow is too thick, I'm going to get stuck.—he told her—That's fine by me.— she drank from her cup as she reached over for a blanket in the backseat.

—We're stuck in the middle of the snow storm. I'm not sure how long we're going to be like this.—he sounded worried, especially since he had something planned for her.

—I don't mind. I rather get home late but safe.—she started to cover herself with the soft silky blanket.—We need to go home though—he looked out the window.

—Jc, we're okay. It's just a snowstorm—she told him, trying to calm him down. —It's just that...—

—Just that, what?—she asked.

—Oh, nothing.—

—Come on Jc, say it—she started to recline her seat back to be more comfortable.—It's just that I want some of that blanket—he argued pulling it from her.

—Oh hell nah, that's my blanket—she fought back, pulling it away from him. Until he stopped, he just stared at her. Almost creeping her out by it. It was like, he was looking into her soul. Creep very much.

—¿What?—she asked him, laughing—You're so beautiful.—His compliment had caught her off guard.

—Gigi...—he took her hand, slowly. still without taking his eyes off her, with a slow sigh. why not ask her now? since he had her close and alone.

—¿Are you okay?—asked the girl, who looked deeply worried. Her hand reached his forehead and left cheek, maybe he had fever.

—You are my first and last thought. I can't stop thinking about you. You healed my heart every time I'm not at my best. your eyes, your hair, your smile, it drives me crazy. I love every detail of you, but what I love most about you is your way of being. in how so patient and understanding you are. You pay attention to everything, you love and care for me without a judgment. You are willing to do the craziest things without a hesitation. You're the girl of my dreams, i want you Gigi, today, tomorrow, for the rest of my life.—
