Everything happened quickly yet it felt slow. Jc stayed there the whole time, his family arrived later on the night.

He saw how her body was almost dragged out of the car. Covered in glass and blood, she looked lifeless. Thankfully she wasn't, her heart was beating. They didn't know how but she was. They saw her leave in the ambulance, with an oxygen tank mask. His heart was in half, why did it happened to her? The girl that revolved around his world, was fighting for her life.

The whole week he spend it at the hospital, she woke up on the fourth day. The doctors didn't get it, she could still walk. For an accident like that it was her being dead or paralyzed. She was neither.

—Everything hurts Jc—she cried from the pain, he hurt him seeing her like that. Oh, how he wished he could silence her pain and make it all go away. All he could do was wipe her tears.

—I'm sorry, Sunshine. You'll be okay in a few days—he gently touched her hair, looking at her with peacefully

—Im really sorry Jc...I didn't mean to scare you. I didn't mean for non of this to happen—she cried to him, even that made her physically wince from the force of her tears.

—No, no, don't cry... all that matters is your here and healthy, love bug.— he held her hand tightly.—I couldn't afford loosing you. I'm glad you're safe—his voiced was calming, giving her hand a soft squeeze.

—I love you—

—I love you too and that big bruise on your eye—he joked, she laugh and then regret it right after. It hurt, her body was aching.

—¿Is it that bad?—

—Eh...respectfully you look bad. So what did happened?—he asked her pulling a chair next to her bed.

—Speeding. Horribly, to the point I took the opposite lane—she felt guilty, she wasn't saying the full truth and he knew it.

—¿What caused it?—

—I saw Brian kissing Sherry...I took off mad and I didn't realize how I was driving. Next thing I know is the impact and everything went black—she looked shameful from her actions. She did all that over a boy.

—¡¿Brian kissed Sherry?! Are you serious? I'm going to fuck him up!—

—¡Jc please! Let it go, please...I just want peace. Don't do anything!—

—He played you and you expect me to be fine with it?! Gigi what the hell!—

—if I can let it go, so should you. It's my life and don't go in it, I'm warning you Jc—

Jc had promised he wouldn't do anything or even go up to Brian. It was hard to though, the thought of Brian playing Gigi's  feelings made me angry.

Brian knew about Gigi's  accident a few days later after not seeing her at school and the newspaper, along with the towns small talk going around. Calling her a irresponsible girl.

"TEEN HAS AN ACCIDENT IN THE WOODS!"
"Smashed almost to death..."

Both of them would look at each other from far and from close during basketball. Brian didn't say anything at all, guilt consumed him from the inside. Jc's death stares didn't help the situation.

Until one night...Jc was fed up with the existence of Brian. That night he went over to Brian's house, a Friday night. He was mad for Brian not even visiting her once, acting like if nothing happened.

—¡Come out Brian!—he yelled from the yard.

—¡¿The fuck is wrong with you?! Get the fuck out of my property! What's your deal?!—yelled Brian coming out of his house.
