19: "The Fever"

(Neo POV)

"Let's break up," she poured water on me and walked out.

How much water or juice has been poured or thrown on my face or my head?

How many breakup lines have I told my client's girlfriends or boyfriends?

I also called the client and told him that I had done what he wanted to tell his ex-girlfriend.

On to my next client and he will meet his girlfriend.

I was the substitute to tell her boyfriend that she was going to break up.

When I was there at the coffee shop, I immediately introduced myself to him and gave him the business card.

"Break up agent," while he was holding my business card and thought I was playing a prank.

"Seriously," he said and seemed to have an idea why I met him instead of his girlfriend.

I started to say what his girlfriend wanted to say when he stopped me.

He calls his girlfriend but she doesn't answer.

"I will miss your fake smile just to remind myself never to trust that kind of smile. By the way Asshole, I know that you and my older brother are having an affair. This breakup is like a nightmare that I want to end at the earliest. Goodbye!" slapped him at once which surprised him.

"Client's request," I said and the last thing I told him was that when my client returned from his vacation, he was no longer at the condo.

I was about to leave when he grabbed my arm.

"Give me one more chance," I removed his hand from my arm.

"Sir, only my client can answer that. I just brought a message," I said as he hugged me.

We were looking at each other and I pushed him but he didn't seem to hear me.

"Your older brother just seduced me, believe me, I only love you," he said while holding both of my arms.

"Sir, I'm not your girlfriend, I'm just a messenger from him," I said when he started crying and I said goodbye to him.

My last client today was the strong slap of my client's girlfriend.

I was about to leave when P'Luis and P'First saw me.

"I didn't think you were a jerk," P'First said to me and I gave him my business card.

"What is the meaning of this?" P'Luis asked me when my client's girlfriend spoke.

"Tell him he's so lazy!" he said angrily to me.

"I am strictly the person who delivers the messages of our clients who want to break up with their boyfriends and girlfriends. We also deal with the anger of their exes, it is up to us to deliver the messages of their exes to them, " I said and said goodbye to him.

"Where are you going?" P'Luis asked me.

"At the office," I said and said goodbye to them.

When I arrived at the office, I took my salary and then I went out.

In my next part-time job, I wore a bear mascot and gave out flyers for the cake shop I worked at.

After I finished handing out the flyer, I went back to the cake shop.

I got out of work at about 6 pm and then went to the bar where I was singing.

When I went to the bar, my boss immediately asked me what happened to my cheek.

"It's just part of my job, boss," I said and went up to the stage.

I started playing the guitar when my seniors caught my eye.

They were even surprised to see me just keep singing.

(Luis POV)

Nong' Neo had just finished singing and Aj immediately called him.

He shyly approached our table as if we were the predator and he was our poor prey, that's what I imagined as he sat with us.

He doesn't talk if he's not being talked to, he's not that talkative when he's with his friends.

"Are you okay, why are you being so dumb," Khaotung said as he bowed down, then he sank onto the table.

"Nong'Neo," I called but he was unconscious.

I carried him and ordered Sea to drive us. I said we are going straight to the hospital.

When we arrived at the hospital, we were already in the emergency room.

He had a fever so they put a cooled fiver on his forehead.

His whole body was also red, especially his face.

Later he regained consciousness and immediately asked where he was.

"You're in the hospital, why didn't you say you were feeling something, that's why you're so quiet," I said as I helped him get up.

"Sorry, P'Luis, I thought I could," said Neo.

I told him that I called his friends.

"Thank you P'Luis," Neo said to me.

"How are you feeling?" I asked and his answer made his head hurt a bit.

Two hours later we were sent home because Neo's illness was simply a fever.

He remembers his class and his part-time job.

"I'll take care of your part-time job," I said to Neo.

"P'Luis it's a shame," said Neo.

"Don't worry," I told Neo.

As I thought, I didn't think it would be difficult for Neo to have a part-time job.

I'm not good at work because our family is rich and I admit that all I know how to do is waste money but now I know that every hour is important and should be worked for.

Neo has three part-time jobs. He gave me his work schedule.

Service crew, babysitter, and the gas boy became my part-time jobs.

He also called me several times asking "am I okay? How am I doing?"

"I'm fine, the important thing is that you get well," I said to Nong'Neo.

"P'Luis, what do you want for dinner? Apo will cook for you," Neo said and then I heard him cough.

I heard Nong'Apo's voice telling him and Nong'Apo was the one I was talking to.

I sensed that Nong'Neo was worried about me so he was planning to visit me if his friends didn't stop him.

"P'Luis, you're here to have dinner with us when you get home from work," Nong'Apo said to me that they were also grateful.
