Chapter Twenty Six

26: It's Okay

(Barcode POV)

We are at the venue today and we also have banners.

We will watch the contest with their band P'Apo and their seniors.

Their senior plays before them. It's a rather subdued performance for a contest.

After their seniors, they followed.

We cheer for them.

P'Na and her boyfriend Fiat were also with us.

Jimmy wasn't there yet because he was the solo guitarist when we saw him he immediately went to the stage.

They go onstage right away and play our songs. It finally comes to the guitar solo and Jimmy starts to play it through gritted teeth. His face twists in pain. P'Apo finally has a moment to pause his singing and look over at Jimmy, which is when he sees.

Without hesitating, P'Apo stops him in the middle of the song by "hugging her ." Everything comes to a screeching halt. Jimmy struggles, fighting to get free and keep playing like an obstinate fool, but P'Apo just clutches him in that bear hug, refusing to let go.

It's a long moment before Jimmy finally calms down and lets P'Apo win. He heads offstage in defeat, and P'Apo looks out at the stunned audience.

He cues the rest of his friends, who are just like the crowd, and they start playing where they left off and finish the song. P'Apo gives a bitter smile at the end before turning to walk off the stage.

The judge announced the winner backstage and we went to see them.

We caught up with them putting a bandage on Jimmy's hand.

"We'd better go to the hospital," Jimmy didn't answer.

We know the reason why they are sad, we know that they did their best.

Jimmy didn't say what happened that made him hurt. Then he also had a fever.

When we arrived at the hospital we went to the emergency room. While they were putting an IV on him, his phone rang I answered it because P'Apo was taking care of something.

I don't like her talking to Jimmy.

It's good that Jimmy's phone automatically records, which means that when you call him, your conversation will be automatically recorded.

"P'Barcode," he called me.

"We'll take care of you and we'll make sure they don't bully you again," P'Apo arrived just in time and asked us why we wanted to go to war.

"We're going on a war," said one of their seniors.

"Nong'Apo, you take care of Nong'Jimmy, we will take care of something," we said goodbye to them.

"P'Barcode what are our plans?" asked Neo.

"The simple plan is to remind them that they can't bully Jimmy," said Pepper.

We got into the van and he called us.

"He just won one award, he already has an attitude," P'Bible said angrily.

"Tomorrow he won't have a career," said one of his seniors.

"Is what we're doing okay?" asked P'Na.

"Now, just think if Fiat was the bully, wouldn't you defend him," P'Na looked at Fiat.

"of course not I will make sure that he has no place in showbiz," P'Mile put his arm around P'Na.

"Congratulations to you," I said to their seniors because they were in third place.
