Chapter Twenty Nine

29 "Boys"

(Pepper POV)

I meet up with a woman at the park, to deliver her order to her. While I calculate how much she owes, the woman ties her shoelaces, asking if I can run fast and I know this is a red flag.

She says she used to be a national athlete in running and strikes the starting position. She gets me to count to three and yell "Go!" before she could run I stopped her.

"Miss old style, the best thing you can do is pay for the items you ordered, and don't try to run because your face is already posted on social media as a thief and a scammer," she didn't do anything but pay for the order.

My next delivery was P'Khaotung who was still surprised to see me.

"P'Khaotung, the price of the item you ordered is 200 baht," he gave me the ATM card and I'm going to ask for his signature so he doesn't hear me so I repeated and he hurried to sign then he didn't wait for his receipt and immediately he closed his gate.

I just left his receipt in the mailbox.

After I finished delivering everything, I invited Neo to eat.

He said that I can go first on the calendar and just order him food.

In less than thirty minutes, it's already on my calendar and I know the owner.

"Auntie, two Pad krapao moo (stir-fried pork with holy basil) and two coke," I sat down at the table.

While I waited for our order, I did a review. Later Neo came.

"I ordered our food," I said.

Later, Neo and I ran into his ex-girlfriend sobbing on a bench next to her suitcase. She jumps up and hugs Neo, wailing, "What am I going to do?"

Neo removed his ex-girlfriend's hug from him.

"I don't have time for your drama, my problem is bigger than yours, then as I remember you have a new boyfriend," we were about to leave when his ex-girlfriend stopped him and P'Luis arrived just in time.

"Fuck," I could see the annoyance and irritation on Neo's face, so before he did, I pulled him into the building.

"Neo, that's enough, you might even break the elevator," he already had a few buttons on the top and bottom and when it wasn't enough, he opened the door of the elevator to his exasperation.

"Pepper, am I going to run away from people who are liars I'm not even done with my problem with P'Luis and this is my ex-girlfriend who showed up to be her stress reliever!" I don't know what to say to him. When we got to our dorm, Neo was still in a bad mood.

Neo squarely blames P'Luis for everything.

"Neo, Pepper," Apo called us to eat.

"Is there a problem?" asked Aou.

"Neo saw P'Luis as well as the ex," Neo gave Boom a bad look.

"Let's eat first before we have a general meeting," Apo said.

"We are different, how is your writing?" I asked Jimmy and he just smiled stupidly.

"Pepper, please answer the phone," said Boom.

When I answered the phone, our landlord said that Neo had a package.

"Neo you have a package on your chin," Neo wondered.

"I don't have an order, maybe it's from P'Luis, please tell him it's his," he continued with his food.

"Are you sure it's all mine," I assured him that it was okay and he thanked us?

I went back to my table and ate.

(Khaotung POV)

It's embarrassing!

Why is it that Nong'Pepper is the one who can deliver?

"Order some sex toys," First laughed at me.

"What's even funnier is that Nong'Pepper delivered," I threw a pillow at Pawin.

"That's not my problem until now Nong'Neo is still mad at me," Luis said sadly.

"It's all your fault, you fooled us too. That's good for you, I'm going home," Sea said when Luis stopped him.

"Sea, don't act like you're not a friend," Sea counted to two then released Luis from hugging Sea's waist.

"Then why are you here Nong'Mile and Nong'Bible?" I asked while they just relaxed and watched porn.

"I'm different, why did you do that? Why did you do that? We can find a way if you imitated what Sea did, the beggar's look, but you didn't take it to the next level and you did a fake wedding. We thought it was true, but your wife that it was Nong'Neo, it was all a lie," he apologized to us.

"We will help Neo with half of what your mother spent on your fake wedding. I don't want it because Apo my love is sad," Nong'Mile said with a smile.

Aj questions "What if your parents see it?" Bible answer "It's fine, they like erotic movies!" Nong'Bible borrowed those pornographic movies from me.

The next morning, Nong'Mile tells me that he had nightmares all night, and pours himself a glass of milk.

I offer everyone some tiny tarts, but as soon as Nong'Bible takes a bite, he freaks out and asks if there are walnuts in us. He is allergic to walnuts, and as I run off to get medicine, Nong'Mile explains that they give him rashes and make him sick for a week.

I apologized to Nong'Bible and fortunately, we managed to give him medicine.

We get ready to leave and Nong'Mile said that we were invited to the housewarming party before they boarded the car.

When we were in the Campos, we went to the coffee shop for a while.

When I opened the door, Pepper came out, followed by Neo.

Before Luis could speak, Neo avoided him.

"P'Luis give Neo space first," Jimmy said and they left.

After we bought iced coffee, we went straight to the engineering department.

While there was no class, we first talked about me and Nong'Pepper.

"Do you think there is a process between the two of you and Nong'Pepper?" Aj asked.

"How are you and Boom," I asked Aj again.

"As long as I'm okay with Nong'Jane," I said to Pawin with my dirty finger.

Later our professor came.

After two hours we took a break and went to the restaurant and saw them.

Our seats were next to each other and I told Nong'Apo to invite Nong'Mile and me to their house later.

"P'Build already told us that," Nong'Apo told us.

In the evening we went to Nong'Mile's house.

We were their only guests and we also met Build, Jeff, and Barcode's girlfriend.

Nong'Apo helped cook and so did Nong'Pepper.

Later they left because they were going to buy something at the grocery store.

Later we watch a news report about a fire at a grocery store involving several casualties. I realize that it's the same store where Nong'Pepper and Nong'Apo were heading, and we run out of the house.

I arrive at the fire, calling frantically for Nong'Pepper and Nong'Mile does the same as he calls Nong'Apo. I hear our names and turn to see them behind us, perfectly fine. Nong'Pepper asks if I'm okay I breathed a sigh of relief because I knew he was safe and Nong'Mile immediately hugged Nong'Apo.
