11: "Another Brick in the Wall"

(Apo POV)

I have a part-time job and I don't want to ask my parents for money.

I'm less approachable, stoically holding signage on a busy street to make ends meet. Dating and relaxing are luxuries that I can't afford because "poor people have no freedom." As shoppers take shelter from the pouring rain, I remain in his position but my gaze hardens as I face the sky.

After my part-time job, Jimmy called me that he needed a model because the one who was supposed to be a model was in the hospital. When I went there, they were very busy. When Jimmy saw me, he immediately introduced me to the designer.

At the rehearsal for the show, the fashion designer critiques the models' expressions as they walk down the runway. Then, I'm does my walk, and the designer's expression changes. Instead of yelling criticisms into the mic, he shares his approval when I get close.

Fashion week went well and Jimmy thanked me.

"Apo, why don't you model like me," suggested Jimmy.

"I have a lot of part-time jobs," I told Jimmy.

"I make a lot of money modeling," Jimmy said to me and later I received a notification saying that our salary was already cents, as far as I could see, it was equal to my full tuition fee. Fortunately, we both have scholarships.

When we got home to the dorm, I saw Boom and Pepper.

(Boom POV)

We are now in the dorm with Apo and Jimmy,

"What happened to you and how was your date?" Apo asked us.

"I and Pepper are excited for the day because we are going on a group date with computer science majors, and Dance Majors from a popular University. But as it turns out they are not dancers and I get stuck with the short end of the stick while Pepper gets a cutie. We have a date at KFC and make fools of ourselves while ordering and killing all future dates," I told as Jimmy laughed at me.

"That means your date is a disaster!" Apo hit him with a pillow.

"Because we're nervous," said Pepper.

"There are more women out there," Jimmy told us.

We also expressed our displeasure with them because of the boarding house we stayed at.

Pepper and I share the same boardinghouse and we are also roommates.

We couldn't sleep because every day there was a party they thought they didn't have borders.

"Do you want to stay here with us, it's only walking distance from our school," Apo said to us.

"We have a contract signed so we can't move," I said to Apo.

"We're going to do our research paper here, sorry for the trouble," Pepper said to us.

"There's nothing," Apo told us.

"Have you eaten?" Apo asked and we said yes but our stomachs told the truth.

"Don't be shy, do you know that when you taste Apo's cooking, I'm sure you'll feel like you're at a favorite restaurant," Jimmy told us.

Apo put on an apron and started cooking.

(Pepper POV)

Jimmy told the truth that Apo is a good cook.

"Look at our children, they are hungry," Jimmy joked and Apo punched him in the shoulder and said that he had already eaten.

We found out that apart from being best friends, they also share the same birthday so that's how they are.
