Jake ran his hands up and down her back as he held her tight. Shit, everything they had done would be memories that burned in his mind forever. And though he had her each way, and still wanted more, everything they had done, had been fast, furious even. That's not what he wanted next. Not that all of this hadn't been great, but he wanted to take her slow, love her right, make sure that it stayed in the corner of her mind like it was going to with him.
He heard her sigh and felt the flutter over his chest, and it brought a smile to his face. Sure, she had rested, but he had no doubt that once they were done for the night, they would both collapse in a heap and not wake up at all. And to be in such a deep sleep because of her and with her, was something he was aching to do.
"What are you thinking?" she asked. He ran his fingers through her thick locks and glanced down at her. Her eyes were closed but a soft smile was tugging at her lips.
"How do you even know I am when you aren't looking at me?"
"Come on, really? It's not like I don't know you, Jake. Don't forget whom you are talking to. And don't deflect on the question, what are you thinking?" He chuckled and captured her hand that was running over his stomach.
"Fine, I will give you that." His hand ran over her hip and down her leg that was thrown over his as well. "I want to make love to you, not just fuck you. I want to go slow, to savor everything because that will have to be our last time together. I want to have the images and the feelings imprinted on my mind so that it's the only thing I can think about." She lifted her head and his eyes turned to her. He didn't need to see her eyes to know the feelings and emotions swimming in there because somehow, they were just as much a part of him as they were of her.
"Really?"
"Yeah, Rachel. Now was all we were allowed, and I want to end it on a note that will have both of us happy."
"You mean you aren't happy now, Jake?" She laughed but he slapped her ass at that. She knew what he meant, and he could see it in her eyes too. "I understand. And I'm all for that. Let me go grab us some water though, okay?"
"Yeah, sure." She grabbed the robe that was on the chair by the bed and walked out of the room. He stood up, grabbed the pillows and the blankets from Jay's room, and made a cozy bed for them on the floor, smirking the whole time. He had no problem playing the asshole best friend and tainting Jay's stuff. In fact, the thought, for him, made him smile. He stood up as he heard her start to come back and walked over to Jay's room, quietly slipping back in. Once she walked by his door, he grabbed her, and pulled her in, making her laugh and squeal.
"You gave me a heart attack," she told him, her arms squished in between their bodies.
"Good," he mumbled, quickly leaning forward to attack her neck. She moaned and tried to move her arms, but his hold on her was too tight. "You aren't breaking free." He moved his kisses up to her ear before moving back down and latched onto the spot where shoulder and neck meet. He felt the release in her body, and he knew that if he wasn't holding her, through pleasure alone, she would have fallen to her knees. She whimpered and he clamped down even tighter, his gut clenching at the fact that his mark would be on her. Maybe not the best thing given that Jay would probably see it, but oh well.
With that thought, he shifted his arms as his lips moved up to capture hers and lifted her up. She wrapped her legs around his waist, and he turned, pushing her against the wall. He gave her a bit more space and the waters fell to the floor as her cold hands ran over his arms, his shoulders, and into his hair but they did nothing to cool him down. His tongue met hers in a heated battle as she shifted to rub her core against him. And he nearly lost it!
He reached between them and grabbed himself, helping to slide into her. A moan passed her lips that his quickly devoured and a shudder ripped through them both. He finally broke the kiss to push into her even more, causing her to press against the wall even more. His eyes shifted from hers to the picture that was beside her and they shared a smirk. He slammed into her even faster, making the picture rattle next to her. Her head turned to look at it and moaned.
"Damn it, Jake, harder." She turned to look at him, her nails scrapping over his skin. He nodded and pounded into her even harder. The wall at her back wasn't soft, but she didn't seem to mind. And though he hated scrapping her back with it, he couldn't stop, even if he wanted to. The essence of Jay was in the room and Jake couldn't deny the big and silent 'fuck you' he was sending his best friend.
His mouth moved downward and captured a nipple as his hand moved between them once more. He sucked hard on her nipple as his finger rubbed against her clit, making her come in his arms. She cried out and he slowed his movements, far from being ready to come. With her still in his arms, he walked back to her room, and carefully laid her down on the blankets. Her body was letting him know that this was it, that coming so hard and so many times was exhausting her.
"I don't think I'll ever see another view like this," he told her, brushing her hair out around her. She stared up at him and he could have sworn he saw the pain and tears in her eyes, but she quickly blinked both away.
"Love me, Jake," she whispered, and oh boy did he plan on it, probably until the end of his days and he couldn't dare tell her. He leaned down and kissed her swollen lips tenderly, his fingertips brushing over her heated skin. God, she felt so good to him, every part of her so incredibly soft. Her legs never released their hold, and he never came out, even though she was wet, so once he slowly withdrew and slowly pushed back in again, she gasped.
She broke the kiss to arch upward, her chest rubbing against his and fuck was it perfect. His hands ran along her sides, over her hips, and down the legs that were still wrapped around his hips. Her eyes fluttered closed and that was something he didn't want. Seeing the sexual, passionate storm in her eyes was a sight to behold and he wanted to make sure that was another image ingrained in his mind.
"No, Rachel, please open your eyes and look at me." She did and he had to take in a shaky breath. The gray color had deepened but yet had gotten brighter and it was something he had never seen. Her hips moved with his in the rocking motion and her hands ran over his back and down to his ass, cupping it, and pushing him in even more.
"Fuck Jake, I don't think anyone will ever feel this good."
"No, baby, no one will." He wasn't talking about his ego, he was talking about the heaven he had found in her embrace, a heaven he didn't want to put off anymore. "Rachel, give it to me one last time, please. I can't hold out much longer, you feel too fucking good."
"I'm so close, Jake." His eyes locked with hers as he shifted his angle and rubbed against her spot. She cried out and tightened around him and he swore he saw stars. He shivered as he had to break the eye contact to drop his head, coming harder and longer than he ever thought. He heard the sharp intake from her and finally lifted his head, a dazed look in his eyes.
"What is it, baby?" He pushed some hair off her shoulder and placed the tiniest of kisses there.
"That was it, huh?" He didn't want to end that beautiful scene on that note, not with that sadness. He glanced at her and shook his head, smiling all the more.
"No, sweetheart, it wasn't." He pulled out and rolled over, pulling her into his arms. They both watched the flames as they licked at the logs. And after a few moments of silence, he glanced at her, seeing her asleep. He watched the golden colors dance over her skin, and he took a shaky breath. He wasn't sure how, or what the fuck he could do, but this couldn't be the end. She stole his heart somewhere along the way and watching her right now, just like this, he couldn't phantom ever having a future without her. But he had no clue how to even bring up the conversation with Jay about loving his sister.
And he knew, fuck did he know, that he had to come up with something soon because Jake couldn't lose Rachel. It wasn't an option for him, not ever. But he knew he couldn't come up with answers in just a few hours. Because he knew, the way fate was working against him, that rescue would be coming in hours and Jake and Rachel were going to go back to having to hate each other. And he just didn't think he had the heart anymore to act at hating her, not when his heart was hers and it gutted him to see her hurt.
