BRUCE WATCHED ERIN WALK away with a smile. He watched the girl disappear into the crowd of people before looking his sister came into view.
"Why are carnival pizzas so good!" She exclaimed with her mouth full causing Bruce to cringe.
"Have some manners, please" he said in disgust.
Amy swallowed her food before speaking "oh stop acting like you don't do it all the time" she argued before taking another bite out of the pizza.
Soon after Derick and Felix walked over to the table with four cups and some fries. "Alright, Coke for Conrad, Fanta for Ron, and a sprite for Bruce," Derick gave everyone their drinks and sat down.
Bruce gave Derick a confused expression "I didn't say I wanted anything" he said.
"I know, but you would attack me if I didn't get you anything."
"So, anyone falling in love this summer?" Conrad asked randomly.
Bruce cleared his throat and looked at his sister "guess who I caught sneaking out to go to a boy's house."
Conrad rose his eyebrows "attagirl" he chuckled but quickly stopped when he saw Bruce giving him a death stare "anyways, Bruce, what about you? Any hot babes this year?"
Bruce thought for a moment about what he should say "no- not really, I don't know if I'm being honest" he answered with a nervous chuckle.
"I don't know how you haven't even kissed Erin yet," Amy chimed in "I mean, she's smart, and I mean like extremely smart, supportive in everything that you do, has good style, and good taste in music. Honestly, if I were you I would've asked her out in an instant," she said.
"It would be weird if I kissed my best friend," Bruce said.
"Nah uh, Audrey and I started as best friends now look at us," Ron said.
"She is nowhere to be seen," Felix said receiving a glare from Ron.
"Felix, you're the Casanova of the group. Any lucky ladies this summer?" Derick asked.
Felix smiled a bit "actually yeah, I haven't asked her out yet though. She's really smart, like Einstein smart, the most beautiful smile, she also works at the Grab N' Go, and she's here right now."
