TWO DAYS HAVE GONE BY since the carnival. Erin kept trying to get a hold of Bruce, she even went to his house but the boy would not speak to her.
Amy told her that Bruce has just been in a bad mood lately and that he hasn't talked to anyone since the carnival.
Erin was confused, she soon thought that one of the boys said something that they shouldn't have so she decided to let it go.
Now what Amy said was true. Bruce didn't want to talk to anyone other than Shuji, Amy had witnessed Bruce only get out of his room to use the bathroom or get food.
She tried talking to him about it but all he keeps saying is "forget it" or "just leave it."
She told Suzie and Gwen about the situation. Obviously, Amy didn't say anything about Bruce being in love with Erin since it was a promise, and she can never break a promise. Especially a promise that she made to her brother.
"I say you tell him to confess," Susie said.
"It's that easy, Susie. I mean, I have never seen Bruce this upset over a girl. I- I'm stuck here, I feel like a mother right now" Amy rambled.
"Does Erin even know why Bruce is upset with her?" Gwen asked.
"No, I don't think so" Amy answered.
"So then tell Bruce that he has to talk with Erin, and if everything goes well, then everything will be back to normal. But if it doesn't, then they're on their own" Gwen said.
Amy took a deep breath band stood up from Susie's couch.
"Alright. Thanks," Amy said before heading out the front door.
Amy rushed home, luckily she didn't live that far from Susie so she got home quite quickly. The second she walked through the door of her home she ran upstairs to Bruce's room, ignoring the weird looks she got from her and her aunt from the kitchen.
Without warning and hesitation, Amy opened the door to Bruce's room causing the boy to jump a little. He was laying in bed trying to take a nap but obviously failed.
"Don't you know how to knock?" Bruce asked in an angered tone.
"You have to talk to Erin" was the only Amy said.
Bruce sighed and sat up "you know it's not that simple Amy."
"I know, but you're stressing the poor girl out, she has come by to check on you at least five times for the past two days. Just please talk to her, or at least let her know why you're mad."
