"WHAT WAS HIS DEAL?" Felix asked the girl next to him. Erin gave him a simple shrug "maybe Amy annoyed him too much?"
Erin shook her head 'no' since Bruce seemed more upset than annoyed. "I don't think so, he seemed really upset."
There was a bit of silence before Felix decided to ruin it.
"Can I take you somewhere?" he asked while looking at the girl "unless you want to go home obviously."
"No, no, where are we going?" the girl said.
"Just, somewhere" was all Felix said.
Erin frowned "you're not kidnapping me, are you?" she asked pretending to be scared.
Felix chuckled "yeah, I'm gonna take you to my house, lock you in my basement, and never let you out," he said playing along.
He quickly looked over at Erin who was smiling and slightly shaking her head. He looked back at the road with the biggest smile that could form on his face.

The car ride was silent. The two teens were just enjoying each other's company, in silence.
Felix found it comforting. He never got peace and quiet in his life. Him being the second eldest out of 6 kids can be hard for him to get any quiet in his house.
When he does get to relax it only last about 5 minutes before his siblings bust the door open. His older sister is off to college so for now he's the eldest looking after everyone while his parents are working.
"How far are we going?" Erin asked breaking the comfortable silence.
"Not far, just like 20 more minutes," Felix said.
Erin leaned her head against the window looking at all the houses and cars they passed.
"Do you have any pets?" the girl asked out of the blue.
"Yeah, a turtle" Felix answered "I'm surprised he's still alive even with 4 other kids in the house."
Erin shot up and looked at Felix in surprise "how many siblings do you have?"
"Five, I'm the second eldest. My older sister is in London for college currently which makes me the oldest sibling in the house for now."
Erin lets out a huff of relief "I don't know how I would be able to handle that many siblings" she chuckled "especially being one of the oldest."
"You're not older than your brother?" Felix asked.
Erin shook her head "Billy was older by like 15 minutes, he always made a big deal out of it."
