WHEN BRUCE WOKE UP he was confused about what had happened. He didn't know what happened. He was still processing the fact that he was awake for one second and then passed out the next.
He had jumped at the sound of the metal door creaking. The boy frantically turned to the door and saw the man use his foot to open the door wider. Bruce's eyes widen when he saw someone in the Grabber's arms.
He knew exactly who it was right away.
"Oh good, you're awake" the Grabber started "I brought you a little friend," the Grabber said dropping the girl out of his arms and letting her body slam onto the hard floor of his basement.
Bruce ran over to Erin to check on her and saw her passed out "what did you do to her?!" he exclaimed.
"Oh nothing, quit being so dramatic," he said walking to the door and walking out of the room closing the door behind him.
Bruce looked at the door and then at the girl. The first thing he did was examine her for any wounds, luckily he didn't find any so he shook her trying to get her to wake up.
But she wouldn't.
Tears started to feel his eyes burn as he tried to wake his best friend up. "E, wake up, please" he cried.
He placed his head on her chest trying to hear her heartbeat. He sighed in relief when he heard the girl's heart beating.
"Erin, please, please wake up" he cried.
He gently picked the girl up and hugged her. Bruce had completely forgotten about the fight that they had the week before, he didn't care about it at all.
His main focus was on the girl in his arms. All he wanted was for her to wake up to make sure she was okay.
After a bit, Bruce is shocked when he felt movement in his arms. He looked down at the girl and smiled when he saw her eyes flicker open.
Erin's vision was blurry but she frowned as she saw the figure in front of her thinking that she was just seeing things.
"Erin, are you okay?" Bruce asked worried for the girl.
"Bruce?"
"Yes, it's me, Erin" he sniffled.
Bruce watched as the girl got up and look around with pure confusion. She slowly started to get up and lost her balance before quickly regaining it.
"What the fuck?" she whispered "Bruce, are we-"
Erin got cut off by Bruce nodding his head knowing what she would ask. She then squinted at the boy and walked over to him and examine his body noticing a few bruises and cuts on his arms.
