Notice: Long chapter ahead!
Warning: Demise!

It's already the 22nd of February, and my morning started with that vision—full of blood and one particular noise. It was only a vision, but it somehow traumatized me.

What made me curious is that confusing noise.

It didn't sound like a gun.

It sounded like... a metal.

"We can fight them." Mizen still tried to persuade us, taking me away from my thoughts.  "We're strong enough."

I returned him a sour face. "Hey, I thought you're smart."

"Huh?" Mizen scoffed. "I am smart."

"Shimizu Mikozen." Kei sighed. "Let's not be reckless and unprepared. Fighting them will hurt someone else. Plus, we're too outnumbered. We're not that strong enough like Tokyo Manji Gang's boss."

"You mean that small kid?" Mizen jerked a brow and I slightly glared at him. "What?"

"Your height is not that far from him, moron," I talked back. "And that kid's name is Mikey, for your information."

Kei chuckled. Mizen scorned.

"We should try to escape then," Kae suggested.

"Kae." I sighed this time. "They're too many."

"Then we will fight them," Kae said cheerfully and a bit idiotically.

Kei and I returned a glance before sighing.

"This... is why you guys shouldn't have involved yourselves with me," I quietly grunted.

"Nel." They turned serious. I zipped my lips. "We're only here for you, nobody else."

"If so, then you three should help Toman."

"We're here for you, not for them."

"But I'm here for them," I defended, silencing them. "I need to be here... for them."

"..."

"My cousin, my friends are there," I uttered, worry overcoming me. "They're my family... and maybe later on..." I didn't realize tears pooled my eyes. "They'll... think I'm a traitor. They'll believe I tricked them. They'll... they'll leave me."

In fact, I left them first.

This somehow reminded me of Baji-san.

"They might not accept me anymore."

That's right. They won't accept me anymore. And yet, I'm still worried about them. I still care about them.

Hmm...

"Maybe..." I began crying with a plan in mind. "Maybe we can still convince them to let you guys go, t-then you guys can... can help Toman defeat Tenjiku. M-maybe we can still, still..."
